can someone tell me the criteria for an all natural show? are there drug tests?

ive heard you have to be drug free for 1 year. dont know about the testing ,i hear alot of them use a liedetector

depends usuely 1 year some allow prohormones some dont. Most also have lifetime bans on roid use.

i know for a fact most do not have lifetime bans

I have competed in several natural federations and all of them have different criteria. Some are also more thorough that others regardless of the criteria. It can also depend on the diligence of the promoter.
It seems there is a shift away from ploygraph toward urinalysis lately.
The downer for the clean competitor is that all of your friends and family saw the other guy get the trophy on stage and you got yours in the mail.

In all my years of competing in natural shows, I only received one letter notifying me that someone had not passed. I would think there would have been more positives. I have heard that they don't like to push the issue because the promoters can't afford to get sued. That brought the AAU down a few years ago when the "winner" of the Mr. America sued the AAU.
