A friend of mine from the gym is one of the main (characters) on Game of Arms. He is a great guy and I am very glad he has this opportunity but after seeing how that show is produced and actually directed - it's not remotely "reality" TV. It doesn't bother me in the least - if that's what people will watch then give the sheep what they want. The truth is that as good as this guy is at what he does and as cool a guy as he is - his life is as "regular" as anyone's and without some hamming it up no one would watch.

I watched the entire show and found it mildly entertaining. I was hoping to see a lot more of the workouts that they do and less of the playing to the camera, especially by the obese receptionist. What they showed of the workouts wasn't at all impressive. The owner demonstrated bent over rows and was bobbing his head like a bird drinking water.

I guess the owner's heart is in it, but being around him for more than a few minutes would be unbearable.
