lets say 65 years of age, and a very good friend of mine. he just messed up his knee and the doc says he's in for the knife, basiclt he has torn the meniscus/cartilage pretty severly.
Now everything on the subject i've read so far (and experienced on my self) suggests that a litlle GH will do wonders for his recovery.
But heres the thing, he's also taking beta-blockers for a 'non lethal and non life-shortening' heart condition (basicly his heart will ignore the sinus rythm from time to time and have a go at the drums for it self .. blood still gets around but it is somewhat unpleasant for the owner of said body).
I've actually read that GH might help on this condition as well.

What are your thoughts? 65 is sort of an old timer .. and he is looking old, been working hard since he was 12 till now, time and work has taken its toll on him.
(from here it looks like HGH in big neons)

But what are your thoughts? If this was a very very good friend of yours, would you convince him to take the needle? I've allready told him to ask the docs about possible benefits about GH administration but we live in a conservative country, they'll most likely just laugh at the idea.

It doesn't hurt to go to a doctor to try to get your friend on hgh therapy even if you think they'll laugh at your friend. That would be my first route if I was 65 and had knee problems.
