I am very sad to post this. some of you may have known him as tapout807 or subguy. he was and always will be my friend. he was only 40 yrs old. wife and three kids...one of which was a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. he died on 1-17-05 at 11.30 pm of a massive heart attack. docs. say that he had an enlarged heart....he was my bro. for 20 some years.....never a more generous and kind soul could you meet. I will miss my friend, the world is a little dimmer now without him. again I am sorry to have to bring you this news....insane one I will shoot you an email if you have any questions.....please take care, be safe and remmeber to stop and appreciate what you have.......our time here is short. I am gonna go hug my kids now.

RIP....bro.....

that's terrible news. did the doc say what caused his heart to enlarge?

SAD news indeed. I feel for his wife and children. If there is a fund set up to help the family, let me know, I would contribute some money to help them out.

My condolences to his loved ones...RIP :(

May God rest his soul.

I am 37 with no wife or kids so it makes me sad to think who he lives behind...i am so sorry for their loss... We all should rethink our priorities at times like this :( ...rip

Sorry to hear.

My condolences also to his family and may they have the strength to move on

My prayers go out to his family. I am sorry for your loss.

Man..

Im praying for his familys comfort in this horrible time. This kind of thing makes me wonder if all these drugs are worth it. Most of us are trading time of our lives to be a beast while were alive. It makes me rethink my whole agenda. Ill never stop lifting weights but I think my cycles are going to be fewer and farther apart....Also gonna start decreasing the doses and adding cardio back in. I hope I am not the only one feeling this way. I mean damn first I read Mike Matarazzo with triple bypass what the hell. Im freaking 26yrs old and about 2 years ago my cholesterol was through the damn roof. I changed my diet and all that stuff but the damn thing would not go down until I started some statin meds (pravachol, lipitor etc....). I just love Bodybuilding so much but I dont want to trade my life for since Im not a pro and not making money from it. I guess Im wondering what PHill Hernon thinks of all this. I can honestly say Phil is the most level headed guy I have ever met. He has the right balance between BB and regular life. Im a little bummed about all this right now....

Very sad to hear.

May god be with him and his family. Sometimes I get paranoid about my AAS use when I hear of these things. Just went to 1 gram of test this cycle, now feeling like screw it. I think we all need to think hard on these kinds of matters. Again, so sorry to hear about this brother.

It is ok to be bummed out

I am sure Flex Wheeler, JJ Marsh, Don Long, VInce Commerford, Mike Matarazzo, Mike Francois, Mohammad Bennaziza, Sonny Schmidt, Derek Whitsett, Tom Prince, Orville Burke, etc... feel/felt bad also. We just do not think about the end result. The amount of drugs we have to take has never been approached in the history of mankind. The muscle size we carry on our frame has never been achieved before in the history of mankind. What do we expect to happen? People that say that it is not the drugs are sadly ignorant. IT IS THE DRUGS. Remeber, food is also a drug.Eating tons of red meat is not helping our situation, along with all of the protein and stressfull training we put ourselves under. We are the guinnea (sp) pigs here.
It amuses me to see our members put together massive cycles on here and ask for advice. Others chime in with their "expertise". The truth is, NONE OF US KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR BODIES, and to just care about the outside is doing an injustice to all of us. It is all a choice, a personal decision, we all understand that. That being said, should we expect to see anything different when our beloved partners and friends are dropping dead all around us? I think not.

...

RIP...

IronMike :(
