Get the fuck outta hereI don’t understand . Why?
Death and light hearted don't go together often for most people.I apologized just a moment ago and I wasn’t under the impression that this was a thread to pay respects. I assumed it was a lighthearted thread and I was wrong
So sad to hear and my condolences. I truly hope more guys in this sport start getting regular heart screening. The wife said he upped his diuretics use because he was having a hard time to drop the water.. he apparently told them he started to feel weak.. then collapsed.. couldn't bring him back
True.. but he could have been doing what many do.. enter a show.. mistime his peak .. or just not in condition.. panic.. and try and make up the issue with excessive measures..So sad to hear and my condolences. I truly hope more guys in this sport start getting regular heart screening.
Holding excess water is usually a symptom of something much larger.
The use of everything in Brazil is outrageous lolThe diuretic usage in brazil is pretty crazy.....So I wouldnt rule that out
Play such games and you pay the prize I guess
ha
Watched this movie 1950s where the guy says to never play with water. It’ll always win lol
I truly hope more guys in this sport start getting regular heart screening.
No, but no bodybuilder is doing themselves any favors by not screening and being behind so pushing diuretics hard in an attempt to offset (no judgment). If you’re going to do it IMO you should at least fully know where your body is at.no amount of heart screening will account for hyper/hypokalemia
would be good for IFBB/NPC staff to know CPR.. cant tell you how many times ive had to use it at the clinic while the NARCAN works its way into the system
Kill you the quickest PLUS no fluids for a day.....killer combo literally.Diuretics are probably the worst drugs bodybuilders use.
RIP
I wonder if most of these places have AED's? Many of these venues are schools so those all should but wonder if some of these other venues do? All these shows absolutely should. I realize survival from cardiac arrest even with AED present at the hospital, isn't great, but it is tool that should be available.
