Anxiety: benzo before gym?

Have your doctor prescribe you Trintillix it's a good send.

Trintellix is an anti-depressant, right? What's your experience with it? Could you share more about it?
 
It is important to remove stimulants that act on the central nervous system such as caffeine, yohimbine, ephedrine and the like.

If you use it, try theanine and taurine, which do not cause anxiety.

Another point, as I mentioned in the previous paragraph, is that excessive coffee consumption spreads anxiety.

How is your intestinal health, there are already studies that directly correlate intestinal health with anxiety.

Stay away from steroids such as trenbolone, nandrolone, boldenone which lower neurotransmitters such as GABA which will generate anxiety and do not use Cabergoline which will generate the same side effect.

Thank you for contributing to the thread. The only stimulant I use is caffeine at 200-300mg once daily.

I use taurine year-round but have begun to up the dose and I also began to use L-theanine back again.

My intestinal health I think is good. I use sauerkraut at least 2-3 times daily, use kefir here and there as well as probiotics, organic greens etc...I essentially do not eat any junk. I used to have a small cheat once a week, but the last few months I can go weeks before I even have one, and when/if I do is not even that bad. I try to keep my gut health in check so I would be surprised if I had any big issues with it.
 
Yes, hydroxyzine is great for sleep and anxiety but it does have that drowsiness associated with it since it’s a antihistamine. I take it for sleep too! If you get really sleepy on it you could try 12.5mg 2-3 times per day as needed for anxiety and see how you do with that.

Some less activating SSRIs that are good for anxiety are Lexapro, Paxil (really good for anxiety), and Luvox.

If you’re already on a beta-blocker you definitely don’t want to add another on top of that so I would steer clear of that option.

I have a bunch of 25mg Hydroxyzine and even that dose or less (sometimes, I cut off a chunk) will help me sleep very deeply. I might pop 12.5mg or even less at day time and see how that works.

Out of those 3 SSRI drugs (Lexapro, Paxil, Luvox), do you think Paxil would be the best for anxiety? Better than Zoloft too?
 
Believe it or not..chamomile preworkout is awesome. Take some chamomile flowers..grind em up to powder..then take 2 heaping teaspoons of powder either in tea or toss and wash and a bit of caffeine with that and this way you get to avoid drugs. Chamomile is an amazing vasodilator and does a host of beneficial stuff to body (like super strong antioxidant) and you feel awesome you didn't have to take anything that is going to potentially cloud your mind like the nasty script stuffn(which is all poison IMHO). And chamomile is so calming, relaxing but pumped! At least my in experience.

When you take 5mg before the gym you feel on fire? Full of energy? You feel it helps you with anxiety too?

Interesting about the Selank and Semax. Do you take them in the AM?
I take it mid day, as that's when I start getting busy and hit the gym at 6pm and I still feel focused and on point the effects of the two compounds keep me calm through the evening. I need to try it in the AM to see how long it takes to wear off. I'll keep you all posted.
 
My doctor had mentioned them to me before as an option if my anxiety gets too crazy since he only wants me to use benzos as needed.

What has you noticed from Celexa? How has it made a difference in quality of life? Any sides?
I noticed less pissimisitic thoughts. Almost like half of them were just filtered out. Better sleep quality as well. Quality of life greatly improved from just having a slightly better mindset. I havent noticed any negatives

Chamomile powder is good. I get the organic Egyptian whole flower buds and then I grind it fresh as I go through the stash to get maximum alkaloids. Never settle for extracts of any kind. Always fresh, organic and whole or shredded form if possible. If not..powder is fine

How long have you been been eating fermented foods? Any possibilities this may have manifested any period of time after consuming these food types? There is a positive association (understandably correlation≠causation) of higher consumption of fermented foods may trigger neurodivergent manifestations.

In psychiatrically healthy medical students under psychological stress, consumption of fermented food appears not to be associated with cognitive performance, as evaluated by scores in a stressful subject examination adjusted for subject knowledge. However, high consumption of fermented food may be associated with more severe depressive and anxiety symptoms experienced before a stressful event. Consumption of food-derived prebiotics seems to be related to neither cognitive performance, depressive nor anxiety symptoms under stress. Further research is needed: to evaluate the reported findings, to reveal the direction of causality between the tested phenomena, to determine the link in patients suffering from clinical depression and to clarify safety issues associated with fermented food.
 
Yes great point. I have 5 blown. Discs and spinal steNosis soooo I understand living in pain every day. I just go with what my body gives me each day . Some days I’m great and at the gym. Other days I wear a back brace all damn day. Some days I’m hunched over using a cane …. Some days it’s a walkers….. when it’s at its worst I’m bedridden! Yet I’m still working two jobs and donating plasma to get by in this shitty ass economy. To young to retire and if I get disability I can touch my pension how the fuck I gonna survive then?? Especially if I’m doing all this to scrape by. Tara good job even, a career.. I’m a mailman. But you can’t touch shit till you’re 69 and I’m 56 . So I just keep putting one foot in Front of the other . Didn’t mean to go on a tangent lol 😂 just saying I totally understand living in pain daily
Damn man that sucks. Sorry to hear about all your issue. How many years till you can collect full retirement?? Im a firefighter and we have to do a full 30 years in NC. Im 46 and got 5 more to go….I gotta make is shoulder last till I’m 51. I did 2 job for 15 years so I know how that goes. Now I pick up at least 1 24 hr shift a month and that extra grand for a shift makes a big difference. Hang in there man. You post office folks don’t get enough credit in my opinion. Important job

yes. i have been taking it for 5 years now with zoloft. this combination saved my life. i am fine. yes baclofen fix your insomnia as well. i take my last dose with 3mg melotonin and sleep very well.

Wow, this is new info to me. I've been eating sauerkraut daily (2-3 x a day normally) for 4-5 months now. The kefir I use on and off. I may go through one or two bottles, then take a break, get some more 3-4 weeks after and repeat.

i made no offense. i hope you didnt take it that way.
i speak from my own experiences, thats why i know what i know. im not judging you or assuming to know anything other then what was in the posts. i only used the example you and pimpman gave as they were normal and should be addressed when talking about cannabis as a medicine. thats how this all came up. i felt originally writing some long diatribe on the use seemed silly. i knew ppl would give me the example i needed to mention it and you did just that. in the end we should all do whats best for us. what works for me may not work for you. clearly its best to do what works for your in the end. i think youre being a little sensitive.

maybe it will make you feel better if tell you that form my perspective if you havent been jailed or hospitalized ( multiple times ) for your head stuff then things really arent that bad.

this thread is about anxiety. my actions in the past have got me into a lot of trouble and ive done a lot of harm to myself over the years. i understand extreme anxiety and how to make it managable and sort of go away because i have done it. not perfect but ive made some pretty good progress over the years.

what i said might help even you.

no. i take first dose with zoloft in the morning. it keeps my brain calm and empty. i can focus my job and usual things. no side effects at all.

Yes, it is an anti-anxiety and anti-depressant. It works much differently than SSRIs and SNRIs. You can literally stop cold turkey without any problem. Doc started me on 5, then 10 and now I am on 20mg daily. It is an amazing drugs, took my anxiety and depression to zero. Did not notice any side effects. I have tried many others like Cipralex and Pristiq(spelling?) with no luck, but this one is amazing.

One of the worst drugs I have ever taken the sides being nonnegotiable.

But I am happy it works for you.

I find it so interesting how people’s experiences differ so much with psychoactive drugs . . . as they do with AAS.
