any guys on trt that DONT use hcg?

ive heard from drs and read mixed reviews, some say its good, some say its pointless, some say the cons outweight the pros...............aside from happy nuts, whats the need?

no need really other than aesthetics. however i am making the assumption we are talking true TRT here as in you have a medical condition and you will be on test for life. Certainly some guys prefer to use hcg but i have seen many times including myself where it just causes increased issues with estrogen control. For me the simpler my HRT regimen is the better.

My doctor refused to make it a part of my TRT regimen. Said that having your balls aesteticly pleasing wasn't a good reason. I said tell that to the old lady who likes when there slapping around. Needless to say he didn't find the humor in that. LOL.

yes , im on trt between blasts, i mentioned hcg to my dr after i tried it on my own, he said it doesnt always do what it should, he doesnt suggest it, he also wouldnt give me im test, i had to get that on my own..........androgel is a joke for a 44 yr old guy imo, so i wanted to get some opinions from other trt guys

Hcg on a true trt/hrt program is usally prescribed if you complain of shrinking nuts or small ejaculations. My doc advised taking 250-500iu the day before the test injection.I tried it and my balls stayed normal and recovery was much quicker when I discontinued the test.I used this protocol for about 12 months straight.

From my experience Hrt from endos no HCG.From life extension/anti-aging they include HCG.I have been to both and thats what I have seen.

At life extension/anti-aging clinic I was prescribed test for eight weeks straight followed by 10 days of HCG 1,000 iu's per day, then back on test 8 weeks then hcg..... over and over...they also offered deca,hgh,anti-estrogens etc...They also didn't take ins.. and doses were higher,might be considered cycles by some.

My endo now has me on test indefinately, no HCG.Also the dose is lower than the other clinic.

Usually endos will give 100-150 mg per week.So when you see people saying that they are on 300-400 mg per week hrt from a doc,its usually from one of those clinics.

And they make you buy it from a compounding pharmacy that they have a relationship with.If you took a script to walgreens for 400 mg a week it would get the pharmacists attention.

They will happily write you a script for test, deca, winstrol, viagra, benzos and oxy's... It's a miracle there aren't more casulties from these scam places.

Right. I always wondered why we don't here about death after death from these places. I personaly know someone who died of an overdose from drugs received at a Pain clinic in south Fl. (no AAs involved).

I get my TRT from a good doctor, but it's like pulling teeth to get 200mg every 10 days. He wanted me on 100mg a week tops, I fought him for over a year to get the 200mg.

For the thread starter: HCG is also nessary for keeping fertility in TRT patients, if I'm not mistaken,

Exactly,high doses,have to use their pharmacies,no insurance... They are also expensive as shit!! I didn't know at the time I actually qualified for HRT through my own docs and was very uncomfortable to ask.

I finally said can you check my testosterone on my next bloodwork as I feel I have all the classic symptoms.And It did came back low . But some are willing to pay those prices as I was to be legal.

I copied this from another board (and a post I had made recently). This is essentially what the TRT guy Dr. Chrisler says about HCG.

yes the clinics r great but very pricey.some charge more for the hcg then they do for test.and the like to convince u in useing alot of hcg and ari cause thats where they r really makeing the $$$.lets see some charge $7-8 per. 1mg. ari and $155 for 5000iu. hcg.But then again its legal and its hard to get prescribed trt buy many docs even w/test numbers as low as 120ng ect. just conservitive i guess. so if u got the $ money clinics r a life saver.
