hey bro's
well i have a copy of the radiologist's reports for my left shoulder, which has been a problem for YEARS, and the ortho im seeing CALLED to have me go through PT (shoulder has been through numerous bouts of PT) and DID NOT EVEN bring me in to explain either of the tests i had done.....so i decided its time for a new doctor and also to get myself a copy of the reports as mentioned.....the findings are below, i had the mri first and then the arthrogram 2-3 weeks later...
i know these tests are still not 100% accurate as i had a torn ACL in my left knee (fuck the left side of my body lol) and even with 2 mri's it went undetected until that ortho decided it was time to go in and see what was going on...my stance on this is about the same as my knee, its time to go in and see what's going on and fix it..finally...
thanks for any help you can provide...
mri impression..
1. posteriorinferior glenoid labral degeneration without a large detached glenoid labral tear identified on this not contrast study.
2. Small glenohumeral joint effusion.
3. Minimal subacromial/subdeltoid bursitis.
4. No rotator cuff tendinopathy or tear
arthrogram impression..
1. Mild fraying and degenerative irregularity with truncation of the inferior aspect of the posterior glenoid labrum associated with some early localized degenerative change of the glenoid fossa articular cartilage. There is no substantial tear identified. there is no high-grade osteochondral lesion identified.
2. Mild supraspinatus rotator cuff tendon signal abnormaility suggests some very minimal or low grade tendinitis without tear or impingement.
3. Very subtle inflammatory or post traumatic changes of subacromial-subdeltoid bursa
