Any updates on Serge Nubret's condition?

Anybody know if Serge is still in a coma? Anybody have any contacts in Paris and could get an update? Thanks.

"Apparently he came round briefly this morning but he had very little brain acivity. They are now keeping him sedated and continuing tests."

"Serge seems a lot better. He is opening his eyes and responding to conversation by squeezing hands. He still can't speak yet, but lets hope he is now well on his way back."

"Latest is that Serge is OUT of the Coma and now breathing on his own. He still cannot talk and has only limited movement. He is showing some understanding of people talking to him. Hopefully he will make a full recovery but as yet there is still no news of any possible permanent damage."

Doesnt he have a young son competing?

that is very sad... i thought he was doing much better.

From people knowing him very well, it's true. Will he ever recover? No one knows at the moment...

Man this is the first I have heard about it. I know he is like 68 or 70 but he seemed to be in awesome shape for his age still. I hope he fully recovers and wish him well. Hopefully someone close to him can keep us updated. MM

i'm not sure if he was trying to compete or what but he started training hard and he had a stroke
