anybody ever got there slin snagged or letter?

i havent had it happened , but curious if its happened to anybody considering its simi allowed with a script for humalog across the border

So i am going to venture to say you can no longer buy slin at your local pharmacy? When I was using it about 10 years ago i just walked into wal-mart told them what i wanted in and they just had me sign for it and done deal.

I ask as I'm considering it on w/o days now and obviously dont wanna get the stare like i have 2 heads walking into a pharmacy and asking for it...

Im doubting that you will have any problems with insulin since it is a life or death type of medication that in many areas (some forms) dont even require a script.

If the pharmacy you are ordering your humalog from ships it with a script, which at least one of them do, then you are perfectly legal.

SWIM ordered from Canada a few months ago and had to sign for his letter at the post office. The item was shipped in styrofoam to keep it cool. No problems at all.

Post office note, item was orded to be signed for. SWIM is an internet acronym for "Someone Who Isn't Me", just easier to type.

Just to clarify, Humalog requires a script. Humulin R you can get without one. They may snag your Humalog when it crosses the boarder. I suppose if the box had a script then it would be ok, but Im not sure. They still make a big deal about foregin meds not being up to par with those in the US as far as quality and so they discourage it.
