Anyone else suffered a torn bicep??

I tore my left bicep(not a major tear), about 2 weeks ago.(Hey I finally got my 19.5" arm!!). Never felt it. not lifting heavy, might have happened while stretching. Just wondered if anyone could share thier experience w/ rehab, etc.
ps. Who the F... stole the other board. Glad to be back....MH

I felt i the next day!!! for a week I couldn't move my arm. I kept it at a 90 degree bend. Hurt like a bitch for that week. I coludn't tell from the MRI how much was torn. Got a nice divit in my arm now. itchin' to get back in the gym. I tore my ACL once and never heard the "POP".

Motorhed,

I hope you got a good doc to take you care of you.

Tore by my right bi off the bone 3 years ago, the tendon at my elbow got broke.

So now I have 1 1/2 bicep, the other half has disappeared.

I have been considering either an implant to flesh out the hole in my arm, or does anyone know if you could use synthol to kind of just make my arm look normal???

I TORE MY RIGHT BICEP COMPLETELY AND HAD IT REPAIRED.

LIKE A DUMBASS I TORE MINE BOUNCING IN A BAR. THREW A HARD UPPER CUT WITHOUT WARMING UP. ARMS WERE SORE FROM WORKING OUT ANYWAY....ROLLED UP TO MY ARM PIT....THE DOC MADE A BIG INCISION NEAR THE ELBOW....DRUG THE BICEP BACK DOWN AND DRILLED THREE HOLES IN THE BONE TO RE-ATTATCH IT TO THE CORRECT INSERTION. IT WAS HELD IN A CAST FOR 4-6WEEKS IN THE SUPINATED POSITION. I COULDN'T EVEN ROTATE THE HAND FOR SOME TIME. COULDN'T GET MY ARM BACK FAR ENOUGH TO GRASP THE BAR DURING SQUATS. LONG STORY SHORT IT MADE A COMPLETE RECOVERY AND LOOKS BETTER THAN THE UNINJURED ONE. I HAVE SINCE DEADLIFTED 650 IN COMPETITION WITH NO PROBLEMS. IF I WERE YOU I'D GO TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON SOONER....NOT LATER. THE TENDON WILL REATTACH ITSELF IN THE WRONG PLACE AND YOU'LL HAVE A DEFORMED, WEAK BICEP.:(
