Anyone ever have sperm frozen

Well the situation is that my fiance has given me the option if i want to put everything into bodybuilding and she will pay all our bills if i just pay for all my meds for bodybuilding. The only worry i have is not being able to have children when we decide to do so. i can deal with the health sides as if they get bad enough i will stop but possibility of infertility is my real worry. I have been looking into freezing my sperm now before the heavy use starts and was wondering if anyone has done so and their experience.

Yes, But the down fall is if you do not store enough in cryo then you are screwed for having a family. It could take 5-12 times of fertility treatments until something happens. Storage is not the most expensive part, It is getting your wife pregnant. The emotional roller coaster ride that goes along with it as well. You both go into it thinking that its a walk in the park. Wrong. It gets expensive fast. The times she does not end up pregnant could be hard on a marriage. Just go into it with a lot of thought and prayer. What is more important to you your wife and maybe a family or bodybuilding. It works I have a son from it. I also have a lot of debt from it. Most insurance company do not cover fertility services. I think the tough part is not being able to have more kids, after having the first one and finding out what a blessing it is to have children and to be a father. For me I if I could I would have changed my path in life. I am not saying that being a bodybuilder is wrong. Lot of guys have kids. Also a lot of guy can not. It is a huge gamble. I played got hurt.

yea im hoping its just sort of like insurance and we will be able to conceive natural but i want o be have some frozen just to be sure. I know about the costs as such as one of her family members had to go through it. i know it s a gamble thats why im trying to take a little extra step and having some frozen.

I did it with my 105lb, blue, pittbull Rocky. I'm glad that I did. He looked like he was on gear. As years went by he died in my arms while a veterinarian tried to get an I.V. in to him. He had ruptured a spleen while playing with his brindle brother Buster. To this day I can't bring myself to breed the sperm sample. I wouldnt want to get rid of any of the pups. That scenario playing out would send my wife packing.lol Since then I have had many dogs that I all love. But Rocky is the bench mark they all have to live up too. As much as i've been through, that scarred me.
