anyone try "mystic tanning"?

the airbrush tan... does it work well first off and also would it be good if you shaved your head because i would think you would essentially shave off the tan, so to speak.

No bro, mystic tan is good and it stains for a while
I'd say you probably are darker than hell for like a week and then two for it two be completely faded. YOu get real dark and I doubt you could shave the shit off. Watch out with your hands and feet you can fuck it up real easy and look blotchy as shit, like you've been wipen your own ass and not washin your hands for a month. Doesn't look too good. I've tried it, I say give it a try, but I prefer to cook myself in a regular tanner.

What is that Xcel?? Is it for a contest tan or just general tanning. I tan easy but always want to be darker especially during winter.

Thinking of giving Trisoralen(sp?) a try but have been skeptical about it.

It's mainly for contest but it lasts a couple of days. It has a really nice hue to it.

My pictures are really crappy but I used one coat of Dream Tan #2 (red/bronze) in those. I recommend Dream Tan #1 (bronze/bronze).

I like mystic tan but I'd rather fry myself in the bed! Though whatch out for what juice freak says becuase that happened to me the first few times and it looks stupid

mystic tanning is the spray booths.. they basically airbursh you with automatic sprayers in a booth... i am just looking for something to keep me tan without too much uv exposre like i get now.

The airbrush tan looked pretty good on my brother, and he's really pale. Slowly faded over the course of 1 1/2- 2 months and was $25. Give it a try!

Sir,

You may find that without using a moisturizer your Mystic Tan loses colour from shaving everyday, however, if you properly moisturize your skin this shouldn't be an issue. Remember to only use a non-water based lotion before you Mystic Tan or better yet don't moisturize your skin at all before Mystic Tanning - use a exfoliant before tanning and a moisturizer (water or non-base is fine for post-tanning use) after tanning.

tanning ah yes how fun it is. I used the method of the "mytstic tanning" couple days out from show and it was a machine that sprayed it on like a human car wash so to speak But this was called nuevux tanning in phoenix. Worked pretty well but can be messy if you dont be carefull. Then the night before show i used show tan by jan tana. worked well but you have got to really work it in or you will have streaks blotches.

well i tried this last night and it worked as advertised...you have to be careful around the hands tho and make sure you put on plenty of barrier cream on them and the areas they tell you to.. oh and it willl kind of stick to any areas you have hair on but will not dye them.... worth a shot if you want to try it. MY place charges $25 for people who do not tan there but the girl working (who was incredibly cute) only charged me $12 (member rates)

I just duid mystic tan but the day before I did the salons most expensive bed that blocks the UV rays so you don't burn(as I usually do) but got really tan off that! I look like a damn african american

ok my final opinion on mystic is that it is definately worth it...

my wife just got it done.... she is pregnant and cant go in tanning booths. I would reccomend you do it. She is naturally dark but just had a pale look to her complection I went with her to get it done and it was simple and easy. Time wise and money wise it is worth it. We only paid 10 bucks. You have to do a little prep before you go in. Like shave and exfoliate (use a mild soap). The tanning salon you go to should have a cream for your hands and feet so they dont get jacked up. It really takes a minute to do. And just towel off really good. Dont shower for atleast 6-8 hours
