Anyone use a 1 inch insulin needle in the glutes?

Who here does this and does the blood work show it gets in the muscle entirely? Or does it have to be the ventroglute?

I normally inject delts or arms every day so I’m looking for some more variety

When I use a 1” or only have a 5/8ths available while I’m waiting for a refill I press the dart deep. Don’t do it often enough to speak to bloodwork.

I always used slin pins on my glutes and bloods came always fine.

Atm i am a lazy ass and i inject 3mls MWF with a 3ml dart, but this is another story.

I use a 1in 23 gauge for the tush. I pretty much have zero fat back there so no need for a 1.5in.

You can press the needle down into the skin to squish the fat and get to the muscle if need be

Pretty much always use a 1" 25 gauge for glutes and ventroglute, sometimes a 1.5" just to mix it up as far as depth/hitting a different part of the muscle. I really can't imagine most guys on here NOT reaching the muscle with a 1". I'll even use a 5/8" at times. Between the various needle lengths and sometimes doing SubQ, my bloodwork doesn't show much variation.

ETA to what @Biggerp7 mentioned above, that's what I always do...press the needle in and hold it pretty hard against the skin. Also helps me keep it steady.

It’s already hard enough for me to contort myself to reach my glute - no way I’m waiting 10 minutes for that oil to go through a Slin pin. 23 gauge takes 2 seconds.

Slin pin in a cup of hot water for a few minutes. No issues for 5+ years. I only take 2mls a week divided in daily pins.

If I think that people used Sostenon 250 redijects from Mexico, preloaded in syringes with a 18 gauge, 1 1/2" needle and didn't even remove that friggin' harpoon and switch it to a thinner needle...madness.

What I was thinking, too. If you mean 1/2 inch slin pin, OP, I tried small amounts in my glutes with my trt and it always seemed to seep out. And I am quite lean. Wasn’t deep enough for me.

i do this in quads with oils but with the 5/8 one or two labs here that are sponsors still give me soft tissue issues for a day or so then it dissipates with sauna and steam room and elevation and circulation not being blocked off,.

I think you're talking about injecting a larger amount of oil but a 27 1/2 takes 1 second for me to inject 0.1cc of a daily trt dose

yea 1/2 inch needle. Saw a video where Derek from MPMD said he did it this way so I figured I'd give it a shot (pun very much intended)

I use a 1/2” pin for everything but glutes and lats. Even with 3ml
