Anyone use insulin PRE workout?

i am not sure if its totally reckless but i have looked up some old threads on it and i have begun to try it.
my hope is to increase the delivering of amino acids to the muscles being worked by drinking a shake with creatine, whey, dextrose, in gatorade. hoping to finish the drink 3/4 into the workout and then have post shake and then meal and the insulin spike should be gone due to shooting earlier.
any thoughts or experience. STEELE

oh and i have plenty of experience with insulin and was thinking this would be a way to use insuli to its full potential without gaining fat at all.

Tried it nearly went into coma, so left it at that. But I never used a drink during my workout.
 
Have a friend who claims 5 ius pre is doing wonders...also have heard that some top level pros are adhering to this ala Coliseum workouts....obviously, one would want to have some vitargo or waxy maise near by
 
the obvious part of insulin is that it shuttles food and nutrients into the muscle at a fast ratef or optumum growth so pwo would be the better way of doing it, but theres always some dude saying oh try this maybe it will work but in the run of it all u do put yourelf at risk by preloading b4 a workout but to ech there own and u only know by trial and eror good luck
 
i have actually already begun.

bout a week into it. if you have ever heard of Milos Sarcev's "magic drink" that is what i am using. its basically taking free form amino acids w/ 2000mg niacin 15-20 minutes before the workout, then make a drink of 25-30gram protein mixed with 32 ounces of gatorade plus up to 100g sugar.
the idea is to begin drinking the shake once the workout has begun and finish it half way to 3/4 through the work out. then i am doing another shake of 50% whey and 50% casein for a total of 50gm of protein with 50g dextrtose and creatine post work out then a meal hour or so later. i am thinking pre workout with the slin to take advantage of all the protein turnover and blood flow to the muscles during the workout. i will post result if they are impressive...or not.
i have only worked up to 4 iu pre workout and that felt horrible but i am currently using 2-3 iu 10-15 minutes pre work out and i have incredible pumps and have put on a pound or pound and a half this week.
my ex- said i looked bigger and she knows i have been "off" for 3 months and slin is all i am doing right now, plus she's a bitch so i think she was being honest. i am definitely fuller and and hope to put on some size this way.

wondered if anyone else has done this and believed it added more size, muscle wise of course. cuz thats my other hope was to minimize fat gain doing it this way. STEELE
oh, an i bleive i am very sensitive to insulin, even post workout i have never needed to go above 6iu with log.

Although we all know the risks associated with Insulin i have researched enough and asked enough to be able to use safely....IMO....
I have been off for a little more than 12 weeks and am currently using a concoction pre workout of waxy maize or vitatgo at around 50 grams preworkout with whey isolates at around 30 40 grams and 3-4 ius of slin 25 mins preworkout...I have been much more full in appearance and have maintained most of my cycle weight with some water loss and much of my strength has remained as well. I cant do over 3-4 ius or i feel the effects of slin and i keep vitargo close by just in case...I dont do slin at any other time...I often wonder which is better, pre or post work slin shots but that has been talked about often..
I cant say its the reason for my well being but i definitely believe it is helping...I am not geting fat off pre work injections and the pumps are incredible, i dont do a mid work shake as im of the belief that the stomach basically slows processing nutrients during workout to shuttle most of our blood to the working muscles etc...I do a post work concoction as well to refeed so to speak minus the slin...With my full meal one hour later..

we are doing pretty close to the same protocol and i have to agree with everything you have experienced as well. great pumps and i seem to be staying laen and getting full use of the insulin at a critical time. i am DEFINITELY going to try it for PCT following a show.
i know it keeps my muscles full and i am only training EOD. i am curious to see if it will result in some muscle gains. and, if i am gaining bodyfat it is much less than when using postworkout. STEELE

As an alternative to some that would like to get SOME of the benefits to this pre-workout insulin but without taking slin, you want to look into a product by USP Labs called P SLIN. You would take 1- 2 pre workout with a large carb meal. I though this was bs and decided to try 2 before a workout in my contest prep on a low carb day....bad idea! I showed up barely able to keep my eyes open, and tired as hell, despite a lot of thermos in me. Luckily a buddy gave me some waxy maise and I ended up having a fucking helluva workout. Note that I do not work for USP Labs, though I do work for another company in the industry, so this is not some stab at a sales pitch guys....
 
went hypo on leg day...

i think i went a bit hypo on leg day, and had glucose tablets on hand for safety and ended up sucking on em the entire workout. kept me from going hypo so now i do almost every workout. -STEELE

when going hypo, its a lot worse than feeling tired and barely able to keep eyes open, its scary as hell, to say the least, weird sounds and buzzing etc. etc...dizzy, lightheaded...I do not believe these are even close to slin shots, but that is my opinion only....No offense bro...

Maybe a better way to describe the product is making you extremely insulin sensitive, like a stonger glucophage per say...and yes, they were capsules. Frankly, slin scares me, but this product and glucophage are okay for me for now....

5-10 is perfect.... not anymore is needed. you want to go hypo ( reason being you actually will burn more calories at this state of being ) a little.... just enough so you feel the craving for food...etc... then you can have your carbs...... i am on a no carb diet now. so i take 5-10 and then workout...during my workout all i have to restore my bloodsugar to normal is a protein shake! the whey converts to glucose when digesting! food for thought...........

i ride a pretty fine line toward going hypo so i have been sucking on those glucose tablets.
and yes, i meant insulin. humalog usually 2-3 units 10-25 minutes pre work out. we will see what happens.:cool: STEELE

I have done this in the past and could use very little carbs if I sipped on a 100-200g protein drink as I trained. But most of the protein is just getting converted to glucose so it seemed like a waste of protein powder, also Im very sensitive to insulin but do you find you get immune to it slowly?

Or do you use it only every other day?
 
For the past 8 weeks or so I take 8iu humalog before leaving the house. On the way to the gym I drink a bottle containing ~30gbcaa and 40g wms. During the workout, I have the same drink, so another 30g bcaa and 40g wms. Post workout I drink my usual whey with another 30-40g wms. Followed 1-1.5hours later by a meal. I only went hypo once that entire time and it was due to my hectic schedule not allowing me to eat for 3-4 hours prior to gym time.

Other than that, I've been getting sick pumps and solid gains. I also take 25mcg t3 to keep any fat gain down.

I train 3 or 4 days a week when trying to gain size...I take it 3 or 4 times a week pre work only......

so its kinda like a prohormone.....? or its kinda like a herbal supplement? and the only thing it has in common with insulin is that it has the word "slin" in its name? ....... maybe you just didnt get enough sleep the night before.:D
