don't start with the soma you listed above, super addictive, if you are looking for pain relief from muscle spaz, start with a flexeril/Cyclobenzaprine, not nearly as powerful, but will ease pain and aid in sleep. melatonin is awesome...better than ambien for me

i've used soma for big muscle tightening issues i had. worked great. relaxed me and made me tired. Didnt like the feeling, but it did its job.

Ive used Flexeril before for a bad back strain , it worked but i hated the way it made me feel!!

so you just looking for somthing to help you chill out and sleep better??

i think looking toward muscle relaxers is a HUGE step in the wrong direction , your looking for a drug that has a physical effect to help with a mental issue.

I know contest prep is hard but fuck , when you have to self medicate cause you cant handle the mental abuse maybe its time to re-evaluate

If it is sleeping during contest prep, which sucks really bad, try out TP's sleep aid ( I have not tried it but hear good things ).

I have used the Animal PM the last two nights just to try it out from a customer's returned bottle, and I was very, very impressed. I take it about 45 minutes before I go to bed (on an empty stomach)... and wait to eat my last meal until right before I go to sleep so the sleep aid all absorbs before I bring any food into my system.

I didn't wake up once the last two nights and I even woke up 15 minutes before my alarm the last two days. GREAT sleep. Worth a shot.

I am 8.5 weeks out btw.

Flexeril knocks me out of ketosis and stalls cutting fat for me. I guess it depends on how you're prepping. I have no expertise there, but I know it makes fat resistant to leave my frame.

Soma's are king of the mountain for potency and effectiveness but do leave you detached sedated sleepy feeling, though effects are subjective, the flexeril are effect but man can they floor you, have sleepy haze real bad the next day for a lot of people, I included. the Robinax is claimed to be least sedating I was told when had an Rx for them, I shit you not though at 1000mg dose before bed and even tapered to 500mg I still had the amnesia feeling, literally would consciously forget shit bad... i could start driving to store and half way on trip there literally forget where or why I was even driving, I can effectively get by with half tab or 250mg dose if need be, def doesnt leave feelng super sleepy tired or me feeling stoned but absentminded, you betcha lol

You may want to try some magnesium. I notice when I'm going hard and having a difficult time relaxing...500mg can do just the trick. Plus, it won't leave u groggy and hazy the next day...

If your tense u can try some benzos to help you relax. Watch out taking them to often though. Soma just made me go to sleep every time I took it. Didn't care for it

Ive used baclofen before it didnt work for me im currently using zanaflex and its working great but I'm also a spinal cord injury patient so who knows how it will work for you

I've been down this road many times before and I found nothing to be more helpful than valium. Good muscle relaxer, great sleep aid. I would also combine it with melatonin in the evenings.

Stay away from Somas.. I know so many people who are addicted to somas and pop them all the time to just get by. Out of all the muscle relaxers I've heard of, they're by far the most addictive.

The only word I think of when I hear soma is coma Haha litterally I was prescribed them for a back injury and with one they helped the pain allot one day I took three and litteraly made me black out
