sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, butf rom my past competition experiences losing the last 5-6 ponds over the course of a week or even a few days less will be pretty simple. I just had to gut 26lbs in 3 days to make my last meet weight. i would suggest cutting sodium and carbs for the first couple days, that should get you close without giving up strength, then day or 2 before i chug water as much as possible to flush the system , night before and day of weigh in you will be pissing all day, finally an hour before weigh in if u still need to drop that last pouind or 2 i would sweat it out, i bought a sauna suite for like $5 and no shit within minutes water was dripping out of the pant legs.
keep in mind that right after weig in, eat and drink. lots of sodium and carbs. I usually just chug down gatorade all the way up to bedtime, and i will eat some high sodium food (sushi buffet usually) just my 2 cents
