Why so long of a recovery time, did something go wrong? I had mine out a couple years ago and I was back in the gym in less that 2 weeks. My DR actually pushed me to not rest to much.
I am glad i had successful surgery and am ok i have not had more than 3 days off in a row since last may or bf hand so my body will like the rest. You'll be alright in the long run. This sport is a huge mindfuck. Just be glad you had a successful surgery and are OK/healthy. Fuck bodybuilding for a bit, just chill and be happy.
Glad you're OK.
Yea i am gonna take it easy and baby my injury i want to be back 100% at the end of this time period.U'll be back to ur old self in no time. Glad u made it through the procedure without complications. Give ur mind and body a well deserved rest. Hope u have a speedy recovery.
.I would take it as an opportunity to heal the joints!!! I don't know about you but mine could use some healing time but I'm a little too stuburn to give it to them
No everything went great he just said anything to do with the abdominal region should take a minimum of 4 weeks off but for a serious athlete like myself should be more in the 6 week l range due to the nature of heavy lifting.
Well he actually said to prevent hernia would be in my best interest to be out 8 weeks so I will start very light range of motion and bodyweight exercises at 6 weeks and slowly build back up to where I was.I was out six weeks too.
Mine is 3 small cuts it was laproscopic surgery and I told him since I bodybuild I was worried about scars so he made them smaller than normal and placed them where they would not be noticedI had mine removed, it was swollen but not ruptured when I was 13. The scar is about 3 and half inches long across the right lower abdomen. I assume the surgery has gotten more efficient in the last 20+ years??
Dude that is crazy!:banghead:MIne ruptured in the summer I lost 38lbs in the 1st 4-5days after gettin it removed
I will break is needed I am just to stubborn to normally take a break.Glad ur ok bro! I guess u get to take a break, enjoy it!
Thanks man!Wishing you a speedy recovery bro

good luck with your recovery. big guy
LOL I emailed Shelby while I was in the hospital to tweek my diet so that was the plan.Just picking at some snacks for a few days until I get my appetite back.Just sucks off was off to a great start.... But muscle memory is a beautiful thing will just be bigger and better in the end:headbang:Great time to put ALL your focus on nutrition right now. Why not tighten that diet up and maybe even lose some weight?
