Took about 6weeks off GH from a 3year run. Stared new job,etc.. and decided to hop back on again. Using the same gh as before and I started small. I took 2iu's yesterday morning and that was it, so this morning early, ab out 5hours into sleeping I wake up and my entire left arm from the elbow to the fingertips is numb and my right hand is numb as well. Now i've had this before and it usually goes away in about 5-10sec. Sometimes I get this when sleeping on my arm but this time was diff. The right hand went away quick but my left forarm and hand were so tingly and numb it was crazy. I was squeezing my fist and wiggling my fingers and nothing would happen. It took a good 3minutes to go away. Then I was scared all night and falling into and outta sleep and each time my dam hands kept getting numb again. Only time they stayed ok was when I layed them flat, but everytime I fall asleep they went numb again. Now im up and all is fine, but I found this very odd. Has this happend to anyone else. I read somewhere that a guy got this and it stayed that way for like 6months, What exactly is this, and is this normal? Im gonna see what happens tonight and not take any gh today.

when my neck vertebras (sp?) are not ok, I have numbness in my hands every morning and it lasts for a while

maybe u should have ur neck checked ?

That's pretty scary man. I've never used GH but I do get numbness sometimes when I'm sleeping. Always goes away within a few seconds though like you said it normally does for you. If you're really worried the best thing to do is just go see the doctor.

When I first started GH a fews years back I had horrible aching pains in my arms from the shoulders down to my fingers tips every single night for the first month or so. It got to the point that I could only sleep sitting up. I even did the normal protocol of starting low and ramping up. This pain was while on 1.5ius a day 7 days a week. It finally subsided and I was able to bump it up to 2.5ius a day but those first 4 to 5 weeks were terrible. My doctor said the pain was normal when starting gh if your normal gh output was impaired. I basically had the production of a 70yr old.

I read an article some time ago about a man whose arm (or leg maybe) fell asleep at work. It didn't seem to be coming back so he saw a doctor. Turned out he was having a stroke!

we will see what happens tonight. I cant see a dr. Its just way too much time and $$ when I dont even know whats up yet. If this persists and im off gh i'll unfortunately have to make an appt.

Dude, this been happening for a couple of years for me. I do not take GH, and haven't for awhile. If I lay on my side my arm goes numb, if if I don't rub it for circulation, it will stay like that for awhile. I wouldn't totally freak out, because I hear this from alot of weight trainers. Probally has some thing to do with your training. I agree with Mike, you could have something out of aligned. Better to have it checked to be sure. I no longer stress about it, I think it is normal, because I do go to a chiropractor every once and awhile, and nothing is that out of aligned.

Same thing has been happening to me for awhile. It's always while I'm sleeping or laying on the couch, damn arm falls asleep. A few weeks ago, everything from my finger tips to my delt went dead. That didn't wake me up but a itch on my head did. I tried to scratch it and about threw my arm out of place. That kinda was freaky. Could high BP be the cause of this ?

hey guys, I just thought id put my two cents in.. When a nerve is compressed by tissues or other structures you develop numbness. There are many causes of compression,, say thorasic outlet syndrome which i have. If i sleep on my side too long or raise my arms above my head the nerves that come out the thorasic outlet become compressed and get cold and numb. Just wait and see what happens next night sleep cycle and rule out some concerns. Here is a link of some conditions you can rule out

last night went well since i took no GH yesterday. No numbness at all. So today I took 2iu's post workout, so we'll see what happens tonight.

Not a Dr nor any GH experience, but it sounds very much like its possibly spinal/vertebrae related if not GH related which of which i am clueless. A physio once told me that almost 75% of people sleep on their side with their arm stretched out underneath their head and/or pillow, and that at some stage this will create neck and spinal issues .I get tingles and numbness down both sides of my body (left side far worse) every time i sleep on my side. I've been trying to train myself to sleep on my back as there are minimum issues if the spinal pressure is eased. 8 years and still rolling onto side each night.Plenty of safe ways to learn how to realign / ''crack your own back'' style of self help via google. Peace.

I have had problems with my arms going to sleep and going numb my whole life. Usually it only happens when I lay on my side. When this happens I just move around and it goes away.

This has been happening to me as well for about a month. I went to the chiro and he told me that my pec muscle needs to be stretched 3 times a day because its pressing down on nerves in my arm due to the way I sleep....either on my side or on my belly with my arms under the pillow. He adjusted me and told me to come back in 2 weeks after I do some of the stretching he gave me.

So, how did it go, Bro? Curious as to your situation. Hope all is well.

Its the Gh for sure. The only night my hands didnt go numb was the night I didnt use any the day before. I've been on 2iu's the past few days now and still getting it but its subsiding, and I will slowly ramp up the dose. I know this is a normal side from GH its just odd b/c I never had it happen before, must be b/c I started up after a 6week layoff.

OH... yeah, def sure it is related to the lay off and then not ramping up. Glad to hear it wasn't something else. best to you

had the same problems u are describing more with the chinese stuff compared to the prescribed ones though. I suppose it comes from to much pressure imposed from the extended cells (due to water retention) on your nerves.
I took some mild diurectics and lowerd carb intake and the problems got a whole lot better. Nowadays i dont take GH anymore though. Not worth the risks for me.

yeah, that's probably it... the right side of my wife's face once went numb for a couple of hours... she called me from work and was crying... i got scared shitless and we went straight to the ER... after doing a CT scan and some x-rays, turned out it was a compressed nerve in her spine... ofcourse this was after 3 doctors misdiagnosed her (doctors here are the worst assholes in the world... most... not all)...
I bet this is the same thing.
