I made the mistake of going on Reddit today and the Exercise subreddit showed up on my page. A kid posted a very good transformation, went from fat to a lean shredded bodybuilder in a couple of years. He admitted he was taking 200mg of Test, and had run a little higher in the past.
Literally all of the comments were hate
“You’re going to die by 30”
“This is drug abuse and not fitness, no different than lip filler and extreme cosmetic surgery”
“You’re 21 but look 40”
You all know the gist. The comments were very very mean spirited though, I’m not even getting the full message across but I’m sure you guys can imagine. Telling him he’s going to die in a few years
And the worst is all the comments from normies, who because of all of this “transparency” the past few years, think they know what they’re talking about
“He is definitely running a steroid cycle of Primo, testo injection, Tren, dianabol, arimidex, winstrol, HGH”
Just cycles that don’t make sense, and everyone’s favorite “Tren”
Or guys who think they’re smart but you can tell they’re completely uneducated, one guy was arguing that anyone taking over 100mg test in a TRT setting will die by 40 (meanwhile my TRT to get me on the high end in range is 250-300).
The study everyone likes to cite is the one where everyone was given 600mg of test and some guys grew slightly without training
Now everyone thinks that you can take steroids and sit on the couch and grow. They told this kid he didn’t work hard and was cheating. “He’s not even in shape, he didn’t work hard, these guys can just take gear and get huge”
Then later on I saw a reel from a page where a guy goes around and asks fit people on the street how they are in shape. Found a Brazilian couple at South Beach and they were in pretty good shape. The dude was nothing crazy. Maybe 210lbs. But all the comments were hate there too. “This girl is on 100mg of Anovor and Testosterones” “this guy is taking 800mg tren and testosterone daily” “this isn’t fitness this is drug abuse”
The account is mostly a normie account and seen and commented on by normies
Now every time I see someone reasonably in shape, all the normies do is hate. The whole transparency towards PED use has not helped things at all. Now everyone thinks you can just sit back and inject gear and get huge and shredded with zero effort, and that you will die at age 30 or 40 if you do
Meanwhile almost all of these people don’t workout and drink and do rec drugs and eat fast food all day
I miss the days when things weren’t as well known and you had to “EARN” the right to learn about PEDs
Now everyone is so smug and confident they know what they’re talking about, and overall it makes the image of bodybuilding much worse in the general public
Back in the day when you saw someone in shape you knew they were disciplined and worked extremely hard. Now everyone thinks they know this hidden knowledge and dismiss any hard work done. If anything they think less hard work goes into it
Even in my own gym one of my buddies told me that everyone’s saying I’m blasting grams of Tren weekly and saying I’m going to die in a year or two. Meanwhile I get extensive physicals including EKGs every 6 months, and biweekly to monthly bloodwork and I am easily in the top 1% of health. Healthier than any of those nerds
Anyhow, I don’t really give a shit what people think, I do this because I love it. But I don’t think that every single normal person being “educated” on PEDs with all the transparency the past 5 years or so has done any good.
Most people in general are very ignorant, low achieving, and jealous, with an overinflated idea of their own intelligence and no humility to admit they’re not an expert on something
It’s like me going to a car forum and saying a bunch of dumb shit because I watched a few TikToks
Now people just see me as a drug abuser and junkie who’s a walking heart attack. I get “tren” comments at Costco ffs
I think things were better when the general public didn’t know much about PEDs.
Just a quick rant as I’m working late at night. What do you guys think?
