1st Cutting Cycle Results... feedback anyone?

I was going to ask you guys a question about the effectiveness of an AAS cycle. This was a cutting cycle, running test + tren + eq for 14 weeks or so. At the current body weight (206) this person still has nearly the same strength on most lifts (bench, squat, dl, pullups, calves, bis) as at height of strength, but only slightly weaker in the tris. So, it doesn't seem like there's too much catabolism of the muscle tissue going on, but there is the significant weight loss. This person gained the following on these lifts:
Bench Press: up 50 pounds
Squat: up 40 pounds
Deadlift: up 40 pounds
Pullups: up 35 pounds (originally 10x body weight, then 10x body weight with 35 pound plate attached by chain)
Rows: up 40 pounds (machine up 60 pounds, bent over rows freeweight up 40 pounds)
Calves: up 50 pounds
Accessories: bicep curl up 15 pounds, tricep skull crusher up 10 pounds
Shoulder press: includes clean and press up 25 pounds, dumbells went from 70 pounds to 90 pounds for sets of 10

PCT was nolva. I'm curious about the results since this was the first experiment with a "cutting" cycle and I'm trying to help my buddy out. Just going by weight alone, what do you think?

2/26/9 Start of Cycle
Body Weight 210.7

3/1/9
Body weight 211.0

3/4/9
Body weight 212.7

3/7/9
Body Weight 212.4

3/15/9
Body Weight 217.0 ------> Started t3

3/27/9
Body Weight 215.0

4/3/9
Body Weight 213.7

4/26/9
Body Weight 210.0 ------> ended t3 around 4/20/9

5/10/9
Body Weight 214.3

5/25/9
Body Weight 216.5

6/10/9-------------> Conclusion of Cycle
Body Weight 217.0

6/25/9
Body Weight 210.4

7/5/9
Body Weight 208.7

7/15/9
Body Weight 206.5 ----> Going into last phase of PCT

Just curious... was there any HCG in there at all?

Also, your avatar = one of my favorite movies. The book was even crazier. Have you read Glamorama by the same author?

Thanks bro, yeah, used HCG throughout at 250IU's 2x/week. I never read the book or the author's other book, though. I will have to check that out :)

I think it would be greatly interesting to see your BF% changes over the period and thus further be able to analyze your results.

Overall it looks as if you did a great job keeping up the intensity and putting some strength gains on the board which is always a positive and as you said, helps maintain muscle size during a caloric defecit. I would think that there should be more fat loss overall (which may be but we cant tell with just poundages and not BF%).

Had them done on an electric scale @ Kaiser Hospital. Beginning of cycle bf at 15%. Midway through cycle bf registered 12%. After losing the weight after cessation of the cycle it registered 16%. F'ing electric scales are worthless. I swear to god I'm going to dunk myself in the bathtub, figure out my body volume, and then do a whole bunch of math. I'd guess it's hovering around 11% no matter what the electroscale says.

Thanks, bro. I've been working with phil, and changed my routine up. What sucks is that I can be this weight and still look pipsqueakish. I blame all the cycling (road biking, not aas) I did. God knows if it's genetics. Lemme see if I can dig up before and after photos.

also before

how long have you been working with phil? I dont think crush soda is in the diet lol

if you want my honest opinion, based on the pictures you could have made those same gains without going on a cycle. maybe not the strength, but the size and fat loss. i would have held out atleast another 6 months before i jumped on. not meaning to sound rude, disrespectful or arrogant in any way, and dont take it as a personal attack, just my opinion.

Check your diet, something is wrong.

I've been in this game 25 yrs bro and I just don't see it....I mean I would never have thought you did a cycle, and from what you posted, it was a good cycle wheather cutting or bulking. I would expect for a 14 wk cycle much, much more fullness, definition, and fat loss.

Sorry man, just calling it like I see it but never give up. Use the information you gathered and push on....that way you'll get what you want.

How long have you seriously been dieting and training for muscle mass?

.... but there is the significant weight loss......

SacToSD, 4.2lbs from start of cycle to now isn't significant weight loss bro and the only real change in measurements is losing 2inches off your waist.
In answer to your original question - I think you could have done all of that in less time without any AAS.

I cant really see much difference in your before and after photos.

Dont get me wrong, I think losing 2 inches off your waist is good but I imagine you feel a bit disappointed? I'm sure Phil will be able to sort this for you as your working with him. Its all a learning process.

Good luck and don't take my comments as disrespectful cos theyre not meant to be :)
