So I was going to do seated pulley rows, and I was going to get the straight bar attachment ( I like to do these once in a while instead of using the normal V handle grip) and I thought "why not use the cambered bar attachment instead?"
I started using the cambered bar for my lat pulldowns after I read about Phil Heath saying he got that tip from Cutler, it really allows you to get a better contraction because you can bring your arms down and dig deeper with the cambered bar ( these are done with palms up, a la Dorian).
So when I used this style today on the seated row, the contraction I got with the cambered bar in my lower back was crazy!
I have never felt the area so pumped and isolated, normally if my lower back is pumped it runs down to the base of my spine and can be uncomfortable, this was totally different and felt fantastic!
Give these a try next back attack and see what you guys think!
