What Dante and Doug have created over at True Protein is nothing short of an athletes dream. No matter what your sport, diet, etc.. they have what you need and you can rest assured that you have the highest quality that is available. These guys set out to change the industry when they started TP and I think most would agree that they are well on their way to achieving that goal.

Personally their double dutch chocolate is one of the best. I reminds me of swiss miss hot chocolate mix. The coconut chocolate is unbelievable.

The key is to go with premium flavors. Sure it is a bit extra, but do it. My suggestion would be to order a pound or two of protein unflavored and get a premium flavor sample pack. EDIT: Now they have a sample pack of 30 flavors each with 50 grams of protein. This would be perfect for someone unsure about flavor and wants to try them all because you only use it one time and your done with it. If you like it great if you didn't like too bad but you didn't have to go through ten pounds of it. And it runs pretty cheap too. check it out. **broken link removed**

I think there is no other company that does what they do and also have unbelievable flavor. I mean if they don't like it they won't even bother putting it out for an option. They are a class act, and I truely wish more companies would be like them.

I almost always suggest people go with premium dutch fudge or premium french vanilla their first order... they are good flavors and versatile in that you can mix them with a lot of different things. If you go and get something off the wall that is hit or miss(a guy posted on another forum he didn't like PB&J for example) what are you going to mix that with? lol

The suggestion of the sampler pack is great as well to expose you to a bunch of different flavors. It would be a shame to get 10+ lbs of a protein you hate drinking when there are a dozen other flavors you would have loved.

I always feel very comfortable recommending them (for a variety of reasons), but especially b/c if there's a question / concern about anything, I can always just suggest they talk with Doug or whoever might pick up the customer service line / email and KNOW they'll be taken care of..

Big company, huge distribution, but its got that Mom n' Pop, small town - I can trust ya feel.

I will be the first to admit the free flavoring tastes as good as it costs.....we worked for 2 years on our premium flavors and I highly urge everyone to use the premium flavors. I with (as much humbleness as I can) will put our premium flavoring up there if not the best.....its right at the top.
