Blood Test came back (Test 139), Doctor wants me to go in for a MRI scan of my Brain

I had the same problem a few years ago when my prolactin levels were high, they thought it was a tumour causing it to be high. I went for an mri and it was clear. Bastards had me worried for no reason, I told them that was probably the Deca and they looked at me a bit confused.

Was that the only thing wrong? That is strange. I guess they are just being cautious. My doctor never said a thing about an MRI and mine was a lot lower than that when I went in for my tests.

I wouldnt stress mate, after three low test readings & alost zero IGF, the Endo sent me for a MRI of my pituatary gland to check if all was well.
Most stressful part was the $500 bill for the scan

Its going to obviously be low if youve been messing with AAS for any length of time, so if thats you then I wouldnt worry much at all. If youve never touched a thing and have always been natural then the scan probably isnt a bad idea.
Chances are the scan will come back negative and youll end up on HRT.
My test was stuck at about 75. Tried for over 6 months and it never went up. ON HRT now.

Well if your young and have low test one of two things are wrong either you have a problem with your testes producing test or you have a problem getting the signal to your testes to tell them to probuce test. MRI is an easy way to tell if its a tumor, its pretty standard so dont freak out. If you do have a tumor most are bening and removed pretty easy in an outpatient procedure. They go in between your upper lip and gum so no drilling into your head lol. Are any of your other labs off or just your total test? If so could you post em up?

Dont be freaked out. More than likely you have permanently low Test levels from cycling aas over the years, regaurdless if you used pct or not. Many hate to face the facts but the odds are, you cycle enough for enough years, odds are your not gonna recover.

It might be jumping to concluisons to say that he's permanently got low test, maybe he did a cycle only a couple months ago.

Yes true. I just wanted people to make sure they know that you cant just expect to shut off and turn on your HPTA as you choose. With time, odds are you will be permantently shut down or will have much lower natural levels than you did before you used aas or ph's.

I accept the fact that my testostorone might be low and will never be high again but I also think that nobody gets permanently shut down, if you stay off long enough I beleive you will have enough test levels to reproduce and have a an average or maybe lower than average libido. But of course most of us here will be thinking of trt as we dont want to be below average or even just average, we wanna be studs until we kick the bucket

Same thing happened to me 17 years ago. He found that I had a pea size tumor next to my pituitary gland. The tumor broke the link between the pituitary and balls to produce testosterone. So now I use the testosterone patch, I put on a new one every night. The tumor is stil the same size. I have a MRI once a year to check on it.

Same thing here- doc thought I had a problem with a tumor pressing on the pituitary. Was young then. If it were now I would admit my usage and the reason for the low levels. Be honest with him and avoid unnecessary MRI if you have taken any supps in the past 6-8 months. If he is an endocrinologist he will know what to prescribe to get your guys working again.
I was going for wifes fertility reasons. Had no problems at all - perfect levels and high sperm counts, really high. Did a few things and thought I came off correctly but when I went back - Zero sperm. Doc said WTF did you take - it must have been really toxic. I said it was a supp off of the internet. Luckily the net was pretty new then. I am sure he knew just by looking at me.

Late reply here, went for the scan;didn't find anything. Damn, I barely fit in that thing. That was a weird experiment, thought I was being reborn...as the terminator or something

I haven't done alot, 5-6 total cycles or 10 years............ just test and one tren.

Sperm count came back "fine" 4 years ago, test has been going lower and lower over the years. He put me on Andro Gel last year, didn't do a thing but piss me off. Nasty crap.

He put me on some new gel this time, called Testim, using 10 grams a day. I'm probably not absorbing any at all.

He wants me to try this for 6 weeks, if that doesn't work; he wants me to come in for injections. Seriously, I can't imagine dealing with the dr's office weekly for a shot. Will doctors just prescribe it and let me do it at home? If this is something I need to do for the rest of my life (i'm 34), it will probably be cheaper to go UG, my insurance deductable it pretty big.

God, I hate this gel crap...

Glad to hear. everything went well. and my friend get his test from his dr . and dr write him 10mg every 10 week . i am sure you can get it with pre.
