Bringing up a week body part with Slin??

A few folks have asked me how they can bring up a lagging body part , all these fellas have been traing for years and have tried several differant approaches to training the muscle to make it grow.

My first responce was to use as heavy weight as possible 3-4 sets with a weight that causes failure in 4-5 reps , with realy good streaching after the workout and good post workout meal

But I was thinking about how insulin works and what would happen if these fellas used slin on the day that they trained their week body part , it seems to me that it would cuase the muscle to grow faster than the rest of the muscles being trained on other days due to the increase in nutrients being shuttled to it esentialy allowing the lagging part to grow faster and catch up.

what do you guys think about this approach?

muscle in question are traps for one guy , chest for another and calves for the last one. I realize that genetics ae a major factor here but is their any way to try to work around it? They are all asking about how well Synthol would work for them but I have zero knowledge about that stuff so coulden't answer.
 
I'd wonder whether a combo of insulin/hgh might be better

maybe its just me but adding more drugs to bring one lagging muscle doesnt sound right...

you could also double your test base, and hell, why not throw in some preWO drol for that day? :p

well, it wasn't so much the "more is better" as it was the thought that the hgh/insulin combo raises intracellular IGF-1 levels which is what you'd want to create new muscle cells. So I suppose IGF-1 by itself could accomplish something similar, but there is still a question as to how well exogenous IGF-1 passes thru cellular walls ( as the majority of IGF-1 in skeletal muscle is created internally rather than using the systemic IGF-1 created by the liver (I think its liver, not 100% sure on which organ it is offhand).
 
It looks good on paper but in real world results probably would be much different...

I mean really just use insulin everyday would be even better, because then that muscle would recover even faster, because the nutrients would get in that day, plus the day after, the day after that, ect, ect...So im not really that big on just spot training a bodypart..I really believe the body grows as a whole...not just a bodypart here and there...So im not so sure that would really work...

That was kinda my thoughts also ,the muscle grows for days after not just the few hrs after but at the same time using the slin to hyper transport the needed materials to the newly damaged muscle may help speed the recovery. I had thought about the IGF-1 thing but I haven't see any first hand results in it working all that well.

I still think that just using very heavy weight and realy working the muscle hard will force it to grow.

Then why wouldn't you train every bodypart that way?

I don't know , the logic I got was that if they train all their body parts equaly as hard then the will all grow at the same rate leaving the lagging body part lagging. All of these fellas were WAY over training the muscles they have problems with somtime training that muscle 2 times a day 3-4 days a week !! I guess that if you were to shock the hell out of the muscle like that for a week then back off to a conventional workout it may spark some results but it just seemns counter productive to me.

All three of these guy train together and they have good intensity
with their workouts I think they are a bit miss directed though.

I'm far from the right guy to be giving "proper" advice but I know when sombody is doing somthing wrong , they just asked me what I thought about their situation. One of them seems hell bent that Synthol is the answer and another asked how the insulin thing worked , being that I've never used either I just figured I'd ask some folks that may have run accross this problem before.

So for any of you trainers out their willing to share any knowledge what would you reccomend a client do to bring up a lagging body part.
