do you think kai greene can win the o in spite of the fact that he is a md man ?
i think he cannot but i do not like it. it is a shame.

i was really thinking yes but i dont know now my predictions are dexter keeps his title second place goes to kai then third phil 4th place jay 5th victor and 6th im thinking wolfe as he is massive hes gained like 25lbs on last year and if he comes in conditiond i think he may even be top 5 but hey thats just my opinion but this years lineup is insanly hard to predict its just such a good one think 98 olympia good

Unfortunately, unless the defending champ comes in off then the title usually goes to him.

That being said, you can guess at who will place where as much as you like but until we see each athlete on the day of the show, i think it's kinda pointless guessing who will finish where. No one knows who will come in off or who will nail their condition.

wolf said he does not think kay can win .. not beacause of his physique but due to "political" issues (kai is not a flex athlete, and the whole grapefruit thing..)

Pretty interesting to hear an ifbb pro say something like this i guess...

i think it was in part 3 or 4 of this interview:

Agreed. I wouldn't want him as the face of bbing after his past antics.

He's unique and because of his squat stature and awkward lines he has to turn and position himself and create poses to make his lines flow more. I think he's something bodybuilding needs (aside from the dick in the fruit stuff) just due to his creative style. No worse than Andy Haman's creative routines etc. IMO.

Why does bodybuilding need an "ambassador"?
Do you really think it's going to ever be mainstream?
If it ever did become mainstream, do you really think the reigning Mr. O would have anything to do with it?

Do you think Dexter and Jay made better "ambassadors"? If so, how?

x2 - It shouldn't be about who would make a good ambassador, it should be judged purely on the physique!

Absolutely agree, Kai have done his dealing in the past and I am sure all of us have shame and history we would never do or want anyone to know about, I feel, especially nowadays people just get me so sick to my stomach, with envious and jealous remarks.. I mean, I can go in detail with what i am trying to say, but this is just not the thread to start this topic; furthermore, I feel the best man should win with out the judges or fn flex being prejudice, usually its the biggest, ripest and driest physique that wins, Aghh the politics in this sports is fn stupid….. I am so teed off….. Sorry and Big Up!

personally i like kais conditioning but it is a superficial and political sport. the magazines run supreme and eventually the truth will hit mainstream if he does in fact win mr o. what hardcore bodybuilders do u kno of would buy magazines with a man who they despise for his sexuality? life aint fair and this is no different.

Thank you Shelby!!!! SOOOOO TRUE. I don't care what he did to a citrus fruit or anything else about his lifestyle if he isn't hurting anyone. He is a bad ass bodybuilder and if he is the best he should win.

just to make it clear - that was not my opinion but wolfs... also he said kai is a true freak but he cannot win due to politics. well that is his opinon if there is any truth to this we will see very soon

Personally I like kai a lot - he has worked VERY hard and has grown tremendously and he has some very creative posing routines.

he indeed is a freak BUT i prefer physiqes that flow better than kais does so i would rather see someone like heath or wolf take it IF it is up for grabs this year but thats only my 02.

Aside from the politics,,,KAI GREENE definitley would have a chance at the MR.O throne,,not sure about winning it but surely top 5.

JM, explain this a little more if you could bro. Because to me there have been some whacky and even insane people who have stepped on stage with past histories. BUT that has never come into play while they are being judged on stage. The only thing the judges (at least they should) should be paying attention to is the package that is on stage. Not where did the package come from before he or she stepped on stage.

It could be said the same for Lee Priest. Many loved his look on stage but didn't care to much for his attitude and his big mouth. Yet everywhere he goes he still draws a crowd. With that said there is almost certainly no one that can get up on stage that doesn't have some skeleton in their closet. But do we hold that against them for life after they have given much to the sport of bodybuilding?

We all do have skeletons in our closet. However, the past O champs like jay, dex, dorian, etc. don't have pics of them doing obscene things to a grapefruit. Kai is a genetic freak and should make the top 3, however, because of his past being exposed, I doubt the judges and the powers in bbing will allow him to be Mr. O. This is strictly my opinion. As for Lee Priest, notice how how he never won the O. To me anyways, what Lee does is different than what Kai did.
