You look slightly harder in the first pics, but it's not a fair comparison. The distance, lighting and you are darker, therefore the shadows are off and that distorts everything.
Next time you should mark a spot and take the pics from the exact same spot with the same lighting.
But you are a lot fuller, it shows that you have added some good muscle fullness.
You're on the right track, don't let your mind play tricks on you, stay possitive no matter what, when you feel that you're exhausted and worn out, push through it, stay focused.
That's the difference between winning and losing.
