sure... i do it all the time... just go some place hot, dry, and windy and don't use moisturizer... :D

HIIT cardio....itl keep you burnin all day long....just started it myself il let u know how it goes lol id rather lose 1/2 inch on my legs and be shreaded than keep the size and show up with chub....

WHEN I COMPETED THERE WAS NOTHING DRY ABOUT FAT. I CANT SAY I HAVE EVER LOOKED AT ANYONE AND THOUGHT THEY WERE DRY BUT STILL HOLDING FAT. CAN YOU SHOW AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE IN THAT STATE? I THINK YOUR BEST BET AT THIS POINT IF YOU ARE STILL FAT IS TO MANIPULATE YOUR MACROS HARD........SUFFER AND THEN MAYBE CARB HARD AT THE END...WHILE DRYING OUT LONGER THAN NORMAL.

Your mind could be playing tricks on you. Still have 3 weeks if you are still holding fat. You can move allot in 3 weeks but you will have to suffer. Sounds like its time to dig in and take care of business. Good luck.:)

just for comparison...3 weeks out na's last year and 3 weeks out this year. i hate to be the one who blames my conditioning on gear, but its what fak thinks as well. we are switching to a full blown keto starting today. :eek:

Just put ur head down and bust ass these last few weeks

I know its a big show and the competition is tough but i really think you still can achieve some very good conditioning. U got a great physique bro... the switch to the keto might just be what you need. Like Phil said, buckle down big time these last cpl weeks and then try to carb up hard at the end. U always look pretty full so that shouldn't be a problem...best of luck db, post some more pics around 1 week out and impress us all!!
 
You look slightly harder in the first pics, but it's not a fair comparison. The distance, lighting and you are darker, therefore the shadows are off and that distorts everything.

Next time you should mark a spot and take the pics from the exact same spot with the same lighting.

But you are a lot fuller, it shows that you have added some good muscle fullness.

You're on the right track, don't let your mind play tricks on you, stay possitive no matter what, when you feel that you're exhausted and worn out, push through it, stay focused.

That's the difference between winning and losing.

dave you are 216?? well I can tell you that if I did a precontest diet on fake gear for any length of time I would drop weight like a crackhead bro, unless you are pushing a shit load of calories on YOUR diet??

I am going to respectfully disagree with this statement. Effort, in my opinion, has very little to do with it. Everyone can train hard or diet "hard" but you don't get into better and better condition by just pushing harder and "trying" harder. You have to be smart and efficient with your training and diet before giving effort more credit than it deserves.

I don't agree with some that are saying you are on for 2 or 3 weeks out. Your pics last year show that you were on track last year and right now you are not. Whether a keto diet will work or not I can't really say because I don't know your situation with your diet, cardio, etc..

Everyone trains and diets hard at your level. You have to be smart and efficient with training and diet and THAT will allow you to present your best package on stage.

In the top pics, you were ready. In the bottom ones, you are way behind. It's not a light/color issue.
Honestly, you'll have to pull one out of your ass for this one. You know your body, so you know what drastic measures you would need to take.

just put the body aside, compare how your face looks in both pictures...


3 days on keto, then post pics... 2 gal. of water, normal sodium (not high, not low)

I'm not fakhri, and he knows best... but i've seen people look like they were 10% fat 1 week out.. don't even look like they have abs, then dry out with lasix (preffered diuretic in my country) and come in at 3% (well, thin skin and ripped to the bone)

just listen to fakhri. you start with him, you end with him. if you don't like what happened, you know what to do.
