I am so glad I never committed to a tattoo, had I got one when I turned 18 it would say IRON MAIDEN across my chest.

I agree. Scratch the dove, high on the back of your neck, with the center of the cross on the spine. The angle of the arms would travel along your traps/shoulders. My .02.

I love the 1st one, and as i'm sure you well know, the dove is the symbol for peace. Wouldn't be a bad thing to keep, it would look badass in a tat!

Thats a great idea for a tat. If you lose the dove, you can put a scroll with a bible passage in it, or a smaller scroll above the hands.

Or put the hands underneath the cross and thorns, as if it were floating in the hands. Thats probably what I would do.....
