Cellulitis?

My buddies friend inject 500mg of testosterone eth. in his right ti and he never has injected anything before in his arms. I don't think it is cellulitis because it ran down into his elbow. He said it's warm and obviously swollen. His buddy that injected him was supposed to know what he was doing but I told the fucking idiot that that was to large of a volume for his ti for the first time and he only inject 500mg every week so he could of rotated from cheek to cheek then to thighs. But anyways what do you guys think? He has bactrum let over from a staff infection. If this was cellulitis how much would that antibiotic help?

The second guy that I posted is a big difference....My first buddy didn't look to bad....but here's the kicker...they both play college football and they are worried what they are going to tell their coach if they have to miss practice to get this checked out.....

Well, the safest advice is to always go see a doctor.

However, infections do not appear that quickly unless your gear is seriously dirty or you ran the needle around the rim of your toilet before you injected.

There is obvious swelling and redness, but I doubt this is a bacterial infection. My guess is that you shot too much gear with a high BA content and you are seeing a cellulitis type reaction from that. It will likely resolve over the next few days.

First thing I would do is take his temperature. If it is elevated, that is a classic first sign of an infection. If it is normal, take some Tylenol and watch it. If it gets worse, head to the ER. I doubt it will though.

When I went in to see a doc, ho told me is I started running a high fever to get my ass in as quickly as possible. He said to not bother if goes up a little bit, 100-101 stuff. It never did go up any - I tend to run on the cold side of normal.

Actually redness can indicate crystillization....

When a high dose steroid IE 500mg/ml or a water based drug winny/tests susp is injected it can become red. This is the bodys reaction to a foreign substance. Wheather it is sterile or not the body sees it as foreign. This in turn increases blood flow to the area and inflamation as it begins to release histamine to try and heal the area. Usually no big deal.....Some people however jump on antibiotics everytime and thus begin antibiotic resistance so when they truly have an abcess/infection from an injection they are up shit creek. However I say if you are not medically trained then you are probably safer to have it checked out by a Physician. Just my opinion of course.
