I usually do 3 excersises for chest. Flat barbell bench,dumbell incline, and weighted dips.then next workout i will rotate dumbell flat bench,incline dumbell press and decline press.First excersise i usually do 2 warmup sets and 3 work sets (4-6 reps) the rest i'll do 2-3 heavy sets(4-6) reps.No need to warmup again on the rest of the excersises,your already warmed up Low reps seem to work the best for me. sorry for the long thread
I usually do three, but the third is only like one set of incline flyes at the end or one good heavy set on the pec deck. My chest workout always consists of Incline dumbells. That's the base of every chest workout. Then I'll either do incline hammer or flat hammer or maybe even flat machine press. Most of my energy goes to incline dumbell presses though. Ever since Ive made that the base of my workout about a year ago.....WOW huge gains in size, strength and shape have been nonstop to date!!!! Take care.
