Concealed carry question

For those of you that carry, would you shoot to kill or just incapacitate someone if you were in a bad situation? I don't know much about gun laws but it seems like it's hard to distinguish when your actually allowed to use it and when the other person has a chance of suing the shit out of you.

Dead men don't talk, don't leave them with a chance to make things hard on you.

If you're in a position where you're justified in using deadly force you're better off being the only one talking at the end.

once you commit you commit 100%
its a life or death situation the loser goes to the morgue!!

if for one second you think you might not be able to pull the trigger and handel all that comes with that then you have no buisness carrying a gun.

Like i said before "2 to the chest , 1 to the head" instantly out of reflex

Kimber 1911 (45).

we carry them for knock power. And easy to get ammo anywhere overseas.

I carry my glock 17 as well... I live in the north where it gets pretty cold though and it is more just a side effect of my upbringing (my father ALWAYS carries) then anything else.

However, it is true that carrying a gun is not the most effective means of protection most of the time. Get together with a qualified FMA instructor and start carrying a knife. With the way society is in the US, that is all you will be able to use effectively 99% of the time.

and to answer the question if you will have time to draw and fire on someone who already has a gun drawn and is willing to use it: No, almost never.

guns are great when they're drawn or when you're sneaking up on someone or when the person you're gonna shoot doesn't notice.

For protection, i'd rather carry a knife. If they want my money that bad they can have it.

Check this out. 21 ft rule when it comes to drawing your gun how much longer when it's concealed.

YouTube - Too close - dont underestimate the knife

:yeahthat: Also, raise your awareness! In the video above, you can watch Dan Inosanto hand the wallet over, and, as the officer takes the wallet, reach for the knife during the officers distraction. Don't be that guy. Be aware of the little things.

When you carry, you know the gun laws. I won't ever pull my gun without the intention to kill someone. If you pull your gun without the intention to kill someone, you will likely be the dead one.
