Confused with HCG

This is my first post, as I was referred to this site by a friend and didnt know about it, he told me to just get on here and that everyone is friendly. So here I am.

Ok I have Novarel HCG, the box says 10,000 USP units with Bacteriostatic Water for injection, USP as Diluent. Then it says for Intramuscular Use Only. There are 2 vials, one freeze dried, one the BW solution. Here are my Q's, if anyone has the time to answer.

Do I mix the BW into the other by sucking it out with a pin and injecting it into the freeze dried?

The BW is a bigger bottle than the freeze dried, and it doesnt look like all the bw will fit into the other bottle, What do I do about that?

Ive read that many use insulin needles, thus it wont be IM, thats fine even though it says IM on the box??

And last but not least, I have no clue what the conversion is for IU, ive tried finding it but not having much luck. I found out it stands for International Units. Is there a conversion so I can just use ml or cc's? Im planning on 150 iu every sunday and wed throughout my cycle, I read that by the way. But I have no idea what 150 iu is! Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you

I havnt used that brand myself but will try and help you out a little.
Yes you can use it either way...IM or subQ
The conversion will depend on how much solvent (water) you put on the powder. youll have to do the math..... If its 10,000 iu of Powder
and you put 2cc of water AFTER mixed it would make 20iu on your slin pin
500iu of HCG...If you put 4cc of water then it would be 40iu (on slin pin) = 500iu HCG. It all just depends on the amount of solvent you use.

And yes you just mix the solvent with the powder...Im not sure about
how much solvent will fit in there as Im not familiar with that brand.

thanks for the quick response.......thats good info.......it is 10,000 USP units of powder, and a 30 ml bottle of BW water.

So if I mix the 2 cc of bw into the other, I draw out 20 iu into the pin, and it be equal to 500 iu of hcg, is that correct??

Naw Man I think I told you wrong.... Check my math.
Actualy I beleive if you did it that way it would be 10 iu on the slin pin would be 500iu HCG

30mL...10mL of water...doesnt matter...just do what raj said, that way the 'math' is easiest. its all about the concentration that you want per iu. follow his protocol and you'll be fine.

Easy way is if your bottle will hold 10cc of water then you KNOW
every 1cc (or 100iu on insulin pin) would be 1000iu of HCG.
If you use more or less do the math from there.

oh yeah, now thats what Im talking about. That way it will be the absolute easiest to do the math. You said it in a perfect way, now I know exactly what to do. Thanks so much for that piece of info, just made my world a heck of a lot easier!
