Could hydration effect estrogen levels?

My training partner and I did a little "experiment". He has been on TRT from a clinic for about 5 years. Bloodwork every 6-9 months. He said he takes 150mg a week, 250iu HCG and .25mg a-dex. Nothing with this changed. He added tren @75mg MWF. The first 4 weeks he did this, his water intake was low. He developed gyno symptoms within a couple weeks. He discontinued the tren for a month or so. He then decided to try it again. Same dose, same brand, same everything but increased his water intake to 1.5-2 gallons a day. No gyno symptoms after 5 weeks.

Everything stayed the same minus water intake. Does/Can hydration lower side effects such as higher estrogen?
