CPAP & nosebleeds?

Never had a nose bleed in my life until starting about a year ago. Sometimes once a month, sometimes 3x a week. Was wondering if it was due to high BP, being ON and getting older (59). Well, I negated the BP out bcoz they are totally random - can happen while waking up at night to take a piss, to eating lunch - however, they never happen in the gym, which is when BP has gotta be at it's highest. Soooo, long story short it finally hit me that I started using a CPAP about a year ago also. So I researched it, and sure enough, CPAP's can cause nosebleeds from drying out ones nose. Especially if using the nose pillows like I do.

Anyone else experience this and have any tips or solutions? I read about trying saline drops in the nose to moisturize but I already tried that with no luck.

I use Resmed Airsense 11. It has the water reservoir and you can adjust the temperature on the humidity settings. This could help with nosebleeds.

Same here - Resmed11. I initially ran the humidity setting on 4, then tried turning it up to 6. Highest it goes is 8 - guess I could try that but figured that might be overkill so was looking for other tips/advices. And yes I have the heat setting on to keep it warm.

Make those changes and see if it helps as it should do.

Regardless have you checked your bp throughout the day? Do you use any health supplements (list them)? Any medications or drugs like tadalafil/cialis?
