I was wondering what you consider a good base or foundation to try the method of growing into a competition? Do you base it off years of training/competing? Bodyfat and Body weight?
Also, how does your offseason look? Going off supps completely for 6 months and keeping your weight in check. Reducing Volume (3-4 days of weight training). Not getting out of hand with calories.
Versus Prepping - Cycling back onto supps, growing your weight up in pounds while still reducing body fat. Training with more frequency (5-6 days of weights with lower volume of sets and performing cardio most days of the week)? Actually increasing calories?
I am thinking of giving this full out try. But, just want to get oppinions on what people consider a base foundation in relation to muscle maturity.
This may have already been discussed, but just tossing it out there again.
