D-Dimer / EQ

Has anyone else experienced extremely elevated D Dimer while on an EQ cycle?

I’ve had this happen twice, and can’t narrow down if it’s the EQ or just shitty timing. Both times I was tested I had Covid prior so that might’ve also skewed my results.

I don't know how EQ would cause such. D-dimer is an indicator of widely disperse increase in clotting cascades throughout the body. As an asside, there was a recent study showing that 1/4 of those recently in reciept of the mRNA shot has elevated D-dimer. I had a D-dimer test done about a month after having COVID and it was normal. Conceivably it can be elevated from the virus since it does impact the clotting cascade and inflammation processes. D-dimer test detects a metabolite of fibrin metabolism in the clotting cascade. Here is an abstract from a paper that describes the mechanism.

Thanks for the response. Was just making sure it didn’t have anything to do with EQ making blood thicker. Could just be a coincidence.
