ive been following dc for my first week which ended today. heres my questions. i have bad knee pain and before this id only squat up to 225 for 15 or so reps. friday was my first workout wiht legs on ur program. after everything i read about how intense you need to be i figured fuck it and put 315 on the bar, set the bars in the reck about 3 inches lower than where i bottom out on a deep squat, grabbed a spotter, and did a set 0f 13(thats when my legs gave out and i fell over) took my15 breaths and tried it again(only got 3 reps the second time before i fell, then puked). today for chest i did incline bench on a smith machine and when i failed(about 1/4 the way up onthe8th rep(first part of the rest pause set) with 295)there wasnt anything i could do about it crashing down on my chest, i took my breaths, got 5 before the same thing happened, then 2 the last time. im worried im not working hard enough for your program. when i do the restpause set, i go until i cant even hold a static at the end. but when i move on to lets say shoulders im feeling like "shit, that sucked. i know i could have done more" please let me know if you think im doing my job. if not ill just figure out how to do more. and thanks again for all the great advice guys.
