I think I was close to genetic limit...
I was a ectomorph body type almost 6 ft tall and bodyweight of 180 in college. took weightlifting in college for physical ed credit. got the bug for lifting BUT didn't know how to eat...so I got stronger but not a whole lot bigger. then shortly after college learned how to eat AND train and put on bout 15-20 lbs in 2-3 years and maintained 6 pack abs.
then crossed over... also knew more about eating... results were pretty good. put on another 15-20 LEAN muscle. I would call myself a "descent responder" I look totally different ON than when OFF. on trt I can maintain near all my weight. albeit it is a bit softer and watery
edit: was a fun journey... I started with 13-14 inch arms and put an inch on em every year for 6 years. I had a 14 inch neck and did the same... I turned into a mesomorph. no one would believe I started as an ecto...
