diet help please

35, 6 ft 1, 245 lbs not sure on body fat, but pretty sloppy. have been working out again for a few months but diet was terrible. want to drop another 20lbs before starting a cycle of test e and proviron. have picked up the cardio and cleaned up the diet and am down from 260 lbs. here is a typical day, tell me what you think

7 am oatmeal( i cup) i serving egg beaters, blueberries, i cup skim milk

10 am protein shake( 50g protein, 4g carbs) banana

1pm steak ( 6-8 oz lean sirloin) yam, green beans

4 pm chicken breast(6-8 oz. boneless skinless) brussel sprouts

6 pm ( normally post work out meal) salmon pattie made with oatmeal with salsa, black eyed peas

8 pm steak with salad

please tell me what you think. thanks

****drop the b-berries eat a granny smith apple instead... use egg whites rather then egg beaters..dont be lazy...

****this is ok its early enough in the day...but if your that sloppy you may want to stick to white meat for awhile then add the red meat in later on down the road.... but keep it to earlier in day how you have it here****

4 pm chicken breast(6-8 oz. boneless skinless) brussel sprouts

**** have another shake with this meal****

6 pm ( normally post work out meal) salmon pattie made with oatmeal with salsa, black eyed peas

****another shake****

8 pm steak with salad

****Drop the 2nd red meat go with white meat such as fish or chicken breast with your salad****

please tell me what you think. thanks


Your not getting enough protein.... need to add atleast another 100g to your diet...lose some of the simple carbs...or change your sources... to granny smiths.. bannana is ok... cardio moderate pace 35-45 mins a day.... may even want to do 2 a days if you have the time...

having oatmeal 2 hours before a steak is not a good idea. I love steak, you should consider doing a carb cycling diet and save things like beef/steak for low carb days, also do your cardio sessions on the low carb days. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace atleast one small meal in the mid-day with a MRP. Also keep carbs out on your last meal.
