Hey Guys,

Jus wanna introduce my self... been here for a lil while in the background, reading, reading, reading lol

Jus need some help with my diet..... not leaning out as quick as i like

Training 5 Years

am cardio. 30min
meal1: shake. 5whole eggs. 1/2 cup oats
meal2: 220g Kangaroo steak, asparagus
meal3: Tuna Steak, Asparagus
meal4: 200g Kangaroo Steak, Broc

PW: Shake
Train..... pwo cardio 30min
PWO: shake, 30g Waxy Maise

dinner with 45min: 220 Chicken Breast, Dark greens

Before Bed: 70g casaein shake
..............................................

Take BCAA's, multi's etc
Friday i have a high carb day full cup oats, 1 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup brown rice 1/4 cup on meals 1 to 4.... cause sat i train Legs.....

im a natty n was suppose to be doin a a show in 6 weeks but im not leaning out quick enough.... been on this for 2 weeks

before i was carb cycling with same foods, increased cardio to twice a day whereas before was 3x per week....

Seeing some improvements now but not quick enough.... any help would be much apprecited guys....
 
seriously bro hire one of our trainers here at the university of professionmuscle maybe phil he's very reasonable & a ifbb pro he knows his chit..that would be my best advice to you...

Where are your carbs??? Your diet is virtually void of any carbs! Out of respect to the guys that charge for their advice that is all I will/can say. But there is your problem!

Here is a tip for all those dieting, whether for a show or just to lower bf levels...........................and this does not cross any lines here as it is a general statement.

Metabolisms need carbs. In order for your metabolism to function it does need carbs and so does the brain. Keto diets are something else but you cannot maintain ketosis for ever!!!

SO guys.....ands gals, don't forget the carbs!!
 
If you're cutting, carbs are not in deficit at all imo.
Once you have them for breakfast and PWO you are ok.
Maybe adding some complex before workout could help you to train harder.
I'd replace the pre shake with a solid meal then.
 
look up some of the threads by Emeric here at this board. He will state how much carbs you need to cut. And I can tell you this man knows exactly what he is doing. From memory it is around 150-180gms, but go and have a look. Just use the search function and it is there. :)

I, like Emeric have always followed that rule pretty closely for all my shows and it has never failed to produce the result i wanted/needed. For the record I have never placed lower than third in any show I have ever entered. That covers 12 years of comps, state, national and international level shows.

i think the analogy is "fat is burned in a furnace of carbohydrates" that might not be exactly true but its pretty close.
