Diet Soda & Estrogen Levels??

Does anyone know if there is a direct or indirect correlation between the two? Diet Soda & Estrogen levels?

Have been trying to figure out what has changed recently in a friends diet/training while on a low dose of test cyp alone (400mg per week)

He is not taking anything else and has never had issues with sore nippples as he is currrently experiencing?

Says they are almost like they are heated and sore when he goes for a run or pushes on them etc. He has used dosages much higher than these and used numerous other prods before.

Has been off the gear for some time and is in about week 5 of his first usage in 3-4 years.


I know there is some correlation with bone density and diet soda but am not sure about estrogen levels.


Your help is appreciated

ok so

after doing some research here is what i have found its the caffeine in the soda that is more then likely causing these gyno like symtoms...both coffee & soda will increase estrogen levels. Soda being much worse for you do to all the other added ingredients.


Coffee and Caffeine Can Raise Cholesterol and estrogen levels in healthy individuals.

Drinking six cups of coffee was significantly associated with an increase in total cholesterol, LDL "bad" cholesterol and triglycerides, but not HDL "good" cholesterol levels

It also appears that coffee consumption is associated with increased estrogen levels, which means an increased risk of breast and endometrial cancer.

For those with high blood pressure, a general rule is that the more caffeine you drink in a day, the higher your blood pressure will be

Drinking more than two cups of coffee daily may boost estrogen levels in both men and woman and could worsen conditions such as endometriosis and breast pain in woman.

Caffeine intake from all sources was linked with higher estrogen levels regardless of age, body mass index BMI, caloric intake, smoking, and alcohol and cholesterol intake.

500 milligrams of caffeine - about the same as four 8 ounce cups of coffee

coffee is clearly not the healthiest liquid to drink--the best choice is pure water--but coffee and caffeine are far less dangerous than fruit juice or soda
