Dieting, GH and insulin sensitivity

I know there is many views on this...personally, I have not used slin before, call me scared, LOL... My concern is the lowered insulin sens. from GH. I am starting dieting soon and have some concerns there. Would something like glucophage be necessary, or am I worrying too much?

Insulin resistance/insensitivity is part of why GH helps fat loss! This is not necessarily something you want to fight with diabetes drugs at all (unless it's severe of course i.e. high BS).

gh selectively decreases insulin sensitivity of fat tissue
and the reason why you need insulin while taking high doses gh isnt because your overall sensitivity is lower, its because the pancreas is inhibited from releasing insulin

Additionally to the fact that insulin resistance in fat cells actually helps liberate fat stores it has been shown that the insulin resistance is directly related to the fact that GH causes you to "burn" more fat for energy (instead of carbs).

Block the increase in fat oxidation and you partially prevent the resistance.
