Hi all,

I'm wondering what Dip Belts people recommend for heavy duty dips? Currently looking at the ironmind de rigueur dipping belt. If anyone has any feedback on it or recommendations for another brand it would be much appreciated.

Most don't look too great for 40kg+

Thanks.

Spud Inc dip belt. Best I’ve ever used.

We have one here and I have to say EXCELLENT! My vote as well.

Thanks for the replies, how does it hold up with heavy/long term use? Some pictures the chain looks a bit short, will it take 2 - 3 plates comfortably?

Man, I was so close to being sold on the Spud Inc belt! Assuming you have an IronMind, same question as above about quality/how it holds up long term?

I’ve had mine for about 10 years now and it’s held up fine. It is a very solid and well made dip belt that will easily hold 3 plates and more comfortably. The chain is 2ft long that comes with it, but you can go to a hardware store and buy a longer chain.

Not trying to talk you out of the Iron Mind dip belt. I’ve bought some of their products and they were of very good quality. I’ve not used their dip belt and can’t really comment on it though.

That's great feedback, thanks. Works out £30 cheaper even with shipping and taxes than the IronMind, so probably go for it!
