DNP and ear problems? (Muffled sound, stabbing pains, tinnitus)

I'm 5'9, 70kg, been doing 200mg DNP ED for 6 days, then 400mg ED for 4 days. Low-cal diet, drinking plenty of water and electrolytes. No real sides for first few days, except night sweats from day 4 onwards.

On around the day I upped it to 400mg I noticed a serious problem with my left ear. The sound is all muffled, and there's a high pitched sound I can hear all the time. Every so often I get a stabbing pain in it though that's less common.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long will it stick around for? I'm really concerned that it's permanent.

I ended my DNP cycle yesterday morning (took final dose of 200mg in the AM). But the hearing problem persists. When I woke up this morning it felt like it'd gone but it's got worse throughout the day.

Have I permanently screwed up my hearing? Is there anything I can do, or anyone I can speak to who has been through the same thing?

You probably have a wax plug in your ear.

I screwed my ears up with loud music. They ring all the time now. I got used to it. Too many loud concerts and stereos. Did most of it when I was young. Possible that you have been exposed to loud sounds?

Those are all the symptoms I get when my ear plugs up with wax. Usually from having to shove ear plugs in every day at work. Q tips and such will just push the wax in farther some times. Rinse them out.

Just to clarify, OP, are you a he or a she?

Cause at only 70 kg (154 lbs), NO man being 5'9" should need DNP to lose bodyfat... and no, it's not preaching... just common sense.

As for your ear, could be absolutely anything... go check a specialist and get his input if it doesn't stop in the following days.

Wouldn't be impossible that it might be the DNP for that stuff can literally cause some WEIRD reactions in some people... but could also be something radically different.

I have to have mine irrigated about every 1.5-2 years. My ears don't drain well and they clog with wax over time.

I wonder if I have some? Here a lady pulls out wax from a dude's ear! I cant believe how much there is! Wonder if your's is like this? It looks like it has ear hairs stuck in it!!!

From 17 through early 20s I had to get irrigated 2 - 3 times a year. Never had issues before that and now it's only once every 1 - 2 years, and it's been minor enough I can do it at home.

Doctor's only explanation was some people just make more wax than others.

Agreed on the wax! Is this the same ear you hold a cell phone too?

The DNP heat probably melted the wax causing it to expand and cover canal more. Get is professionally taken care of. you'll be surprised at how better you'll feel and hear.
