Do Phyto-nutrients increase strength/pumps?

The last few days I have been consuming massive quantities of veggies. Tonbs of broccoli, carrots, brussel sprouts, and bell peppers, as well as a few others. Since this great increase in greens and phyto nutrients, I have become significantly stronger and getting a much more profound pump. Not to mention feeling much better... Just wondering if this change in diet can actually affect ones strength and what not, I' m pretty amused by it at the moment.
 
Are you eating them raw or cooked? A book I read called "The China Study" insists that most of the nutrients, living enzymes, and oxygen are destroyed by cooking or freezing. But it also preaches against protein.

Well i would say yes, you are supplying your body with vital minerals and vitamins. So your body is responding by repairing quicker and recovering. All in all your body is becoming more efficient metabolicly.
