anyone have any great programs they have put together for mass ?
something to make me puke!!!!
 
4 sets of 40% max for 25 reps on hack sqts 30 secs rest in between

10 sets of 10 reps on leg press. Rotate between narrow and shoulder width stance. 60% of 1 rep max. 90 sec rest between sets. If you can do 60 sec rest on first 4-5 sets do it. Make sure you walk between sets as well. Its a brutual workout and if ya do it, dont do it often. I use it once every 6-8 weeks...

When you say rotate between narrow and shoulder width, do mean each set?
and how high up on the plate to I place my feet?
 
if puking is your goal it would be easier to gag yourself lol.:D
if muscle building is you goal i wouldnt do a crazy amount of volume. but you know me Joe, i am mr. low volume :)
most literature (not that its always right) would say fast twitch fibers grow most in size and do so with lower reps heavier weight so i would train em that way.
differnce in sprinters legs and marathon runners legs... is kind of an extreme example of this imo. -JS

if you used twice amount of weight and did half the amount of sets i bet it would be just as effective if not more cuz you could recover faster from less volume. i know i do.
why not 20 sets of 20 reps?
40 sets of 40 reps? etc etc ya know?

when i was a trainer i used to pose the question: whats better 2 sets or 20 sets? my rhetorical answer: 2 sets if you go all out cuz you can recover faster and get back to eating sooner lol.

it can also depend on what motivates you too.
i have a genetic freak of a friend and he just LIKES to work out. he doesnt mind spending an hour plus in the gym. i explained to him he might recover better from doing less and he didn't argue that but said he just simply likes to be in the gym for a long time. and he is such a freak i think he would grow no matter what he does although he could grow the same or maybe better doing less he likes to be in the gym. -JS
 
Well, if you are looking for a crazy pump and to make yourself puke then you want to do high rep sets of squats!

I would pick a weight you can do 20-25 reps of squats with and do that. Once you reach failure then youll want to stand there with the bar on your shoulders and take a rest. Rest for between 5-10 seconds and then grind out as many reps as you can. Once you hit failure again rest there standing with the weight and do another set of as many reps as you can. Keep going until you cant do even one more rep. You should be able to get out 30 reps or more. Thats what I did the night when I went into a lethal arrythmia and almost died!

Do that for about 3 times for 3 sets and you should puke.
