I have donated a pint of blood a month ago, and since then developed joint pain all over. The timing was so incredibly perfect I do not know what to think. Not one but several joints started hurting after and during weight training over the last one month. The pain is not extreme by any means and so far I did not have to skip sessions or anything, but I am wondering if the blood donation caused this (I donated one pint of whole blood by the way, not plasma...)

PS: Not using any steroids, never have... so Deca is not an option for me

Does this board have a reputation for getting people on deca for the slightest joint problem? :D

I have heard all sorts of complaints after donating blood so probably yes!

Seriously? What kinds of complaints did you hear about?
I -for the most part- tend to hear good things about it :(

Im a regular donor.I've never had any ailments from donating. There's a myriad of other things/reasons you have joint pain.Id look to the simplest things first, starting w/ hydration. Most dont come near drinking enough water in a day.

Donate regularily. Last saturday was the last time. No more joint pains now then there was years ago before I started donating.
