Drop sets are an excellent way to keep a good set going longer than you could with normal weight. it is intended to recruit all the available muscle fibre for that muscle by extending TUT. (time under tension) If the drops can be made quickly the muscle gets little to no rest and burns real bad. Works really well with leg press but you need a couple of weight bitches.....oh I mean helpers!what do you think guys of drop sets ? i will incorporate drop-s in my routine for a change.
i remenber j-p fux did at least 2-3 drop sets on each exercise and with a slow tempo 2-0-2
giant sets for mass ? you must reduce the weight a lot no ?
