so i thought this was pretty funny so i have to share with you guys....This morning in the gym i was in between sets and i look over and see this guy moving a flat bench in the squat rack and slide the bar down so i figured he was doing lockouts to boost his bench or w.e so i proceded with my next set, after this set i look up and the freakin kid put his feet on top of the bar and layed on the bench and started to do crunches yessss fucking crunches in the squat rack hahaha....i almost pissed myself probably one of the dumbest things i have ever seen

Well, this morning I was doing crunches (the squat rack) and some dude kept staring at me. It wasnt so much as funny, as it was a bit creepy
.... :D

I kid, I kid.

Funniest moment in the gym/grossest. I saw a guy litterly shit himself while benching. The reason it was seen was because he kept doing the whole "hit yourself in the face" to pump yourself up thing. I agree, it was a lot of weight. I was generally interested in if he could actually pull it off.

Well the bar went down, it went about 1/4 of the way up....and there it was...shit all over the bench.

Apparently the guy wasnt feeling well, had some stomach issue, but didnt want to skip a workout. (I can admire that). Needless to say, he is now know as Mr. McShitty. (a nickname Im sure he loves)
 
hahahhahah thats hilarious never have seen anything like that , thats for sure
 
I have to go back years, back in the mid 80's, a guy in the gym I worked out at used to bitch about not gaining any size, he figured he wasn't working hard enough so he kept adding more and more exercises, sets, etc, wouldn't listen to anyone.

One day he asked me to spot him on bench, which he had loaded to 315. I figured he was shooting for a max. He does the rep and I'm not exaggerating when I probably had to apply 100 pounds of upward force to get the bar up. As we, and I do mean we, get to the top of the rep he blurts out, "9 more" so a pulled the bar onto the rack and walked away. He was mad, tells me he was shooting for 10 reps. I told him I didn't think I could upright row 315 9 more reps.
 
hahaha the shit some ppl do in the gym jus makes me shake my head , u cant help but laugh at them
 
lol, Tuesday I was going to do squats in the power rack and some guy was dong hanging leg raises in there. We just stood there staring at him like he was stupid till he left, lol. Oh and another good one. Once upon a time I was showing off doing super heavy, old school vertical leg presses and my right eye popped half way out. I had to push it forcefully back into place and it made a popping sound as it squished back in. Yep, I was told it was pretty funny.
 
If this was a contest, MrPump takes first place...I haven't laughed that hard in a while :D:D:D
Some of my favorite things that make me laugh to myself in the gym:
-The guy that ALWAYS wears a belt no matter what exercise he's doing (in reality, its there to hold his gut in)
-The guys that walk around with I.L.S. (invisible lat syndrome) and hold their hands out four feet away from their body
-Anyone in a wife beater
-Guys jumping in the air and using their entire body to do lat pull-downs
I'm sure more will come to me later, but those are some smiles off the top of my head...
 
I dont have any good stories fellas, but thanks for the guys that posted these its good to get a good laugh in first thing in the mourning!

Leg press loaded to 600, 700, 800 lbs ( you get the idea), move down for 6 inches and back up...that always gets me.
 
Dumbest thing I see in the gym is guys coming in to train while they are sick with the flu. You can't make any progress when you are sick, and you might spread it around to other people. They just don't have any common sense.
 
Big juicy ur eyeball story is f-in nuts...i love it and biohazard i wear tanks in the gym hahaha, its all good tho, i get looks all the time. and here at my school there are alot of guys with I.L.S its hilarious. and when i went back home for christmas there was a guy doing shrugs but he loaded the bar with 10's and 5's on each side, it looked like he used all of the 10's and 5lb plates in the gym , wellllll he miss calculated and forgot to put clips on and lets just say when he went to do the exercise one end went up the other went down and lets jus say all the plates slide off one side and then the other side did the same the noise was so loud , probably because he had 50 plates on there it was funny as hell to watch tho.

Just happened yesterday with some dude, fully loaded the leg press and then doing quarter reps. I laughed but was also pissed off because he was using up all the 45's and didn't freakin need them if he just did it right. I'm sure he thought he was a bad ass when everybody else is just laughing at him for being a MORON!
 
ohhhh dece , thats one of my pet pieves to man i hate that shit. ppl are so ignorant they dont realize that they will never grow doing that. but w.e let them be small and do that , atleast we get a good laugh haha

Ok, I need to get some posts up so I can give props to Nian on the sponsors board. Here goes...dude in the gym doing dumbell shoulder presses, young kid maybe 18 or 19 cant weigh more than 130, he picks up the 100lb dumbells and kicks them up to shoulder level. After what seemed like an eternity of trying his best to budge them, he just throws them to the side. Why didnt the spotter help him you ask...because the spotter was his chick, weighing all of about 90 pounds!
 
Chicken legs

What I don't understand is the guy at my gym who can bench 365 for reps but has skinny legs that look atrophied. He says he never does legs, abs or cardio. Doesn't make sense to me. He has a big chest and arms but that is it. I mean, his legs look like that of a person that has never done any athletics at all. It is plain weird looking!
 
one handed dumbell cleans?

I was at the gym one day and this story is funny, probably because the guy is asian. but i saw him as o was working out...he was probably 5' 6" and about a good 165 lbs decked out in a weightlifting belt, extra tight gold's gym muscle tee and shorty shorts to reveal the impressively thin legs. he had a 20 or 30 lb dumbell in front of him...after getting mentally ready woth a few breaths he proceeded to bend over grab the dumbell and yank it up to his chest with one hand (HOLY SHIT...ONE HAND!!!!!) yes, i know, one hand...and vigorously lifted it straight up in the air, screaming and then just dropped it back to the ground and switched hands...i had to fight back the laughter
 
1st of all I dont consider my self any where near a BB ... but I try to follow the gym rules as much as I can ... like when I hit gym I know in my head tht I have 45 min for my training any more then tht and I m over training ... so once in the gym head phones on and no eye contact with any one cos if u do then u have to say Hi .. how r u and tht just take away ur valuable time ...
now as for my fav person at the gym is this I think middle eastern guy who thinks he is in some social club ... cos for past several days i see him on the phone chatting away or talking to somone not for like couple of minutes but freaking 15 to 30 mins at a time then he will find some one else and start conversasion with him ...I can seriously say i think its being more then a year for this dude and the only way he was able to loose weight is by surgery "or thts wht i heard " every one in the gym knows his life story and its a pretty big gym... he probably spends around 30 mins/ exercise like do 1 set and will dissappear for like 10 mins then come back and do another... I think loosers like these shouldnt be allowed in the gym wasting away there and most imp other ppl time ..

how about the guys in the gym who are about 190-200 lbs of nothing impressive, strutting like they just got a dick up their ass and their lats are 12 feet across
