EASY QUESTIONS, for BIGA and the board, plus HELP MIKE S!!??

1) BIGA, or Somebody- anybody- please tell me how the hell to set my preferences on this darned board. please!

• On the main board, I would like to see new or most recent posts to be shown from the top down to the older posts (like most boards do).
  
  
• But when I click on a thread, I would like the posts in that thread to be shown from oldest at the top to the newest at the bottom. You know, just the opposite of whats on the main board.

IS there anyone on here smart enough to do this? To show me how? I have tried my setting options but I either get them ALL OLDEST TO NEWEST (top to bottom) or ALL NEWEST TO OLDEST (top to bottom) and its very very frustrating.

I want one one way, and the other the other way.

And if someone says "oh yeah, its right here, blah blah, a 3 year old could do it" I am going to flip out and break stuff. Its driving me insane.

top left , go into your userCP ,,then on the left side choose a category to set your personal preferences ! hope that helps

I went into my USER CP as advised.

Looked under EDIT OPTIONS

Looked in the THREADED DISPLAY OPTIONS

The only choices I see are: Threaded, Hybrid, LINEAR (newest first), or LINEAR (oldest first)




Which is what I said in my original post I do not like. I want the MAIN BOARD to have newest to oldest (top to bottom) but then when I click on the thread I prefer the opposite which is oldest to newest (top to bottom)


Is there a way to set it up to work like this?

What- nobody wants to comment on my auction idea for MikeS?? what the hell is wrong with everybody around here? Does nobody care about anyone else , especially one of the old school guys like MikeS
